Every time I want to free-transform a layer my CS6 takes it upon it's self to duplicate the layer selected. I have no idea why this is happening, and it's annoying.

Anyone know what I've accidently pressed?

You are most likely holding the ALT key and dragging which in-turn would duplicate the selected layer.

I believe you can edit your quick keys in Photoshop. so you could check to see if they switched.

I wish I could help you, sounds like a really nasty time consuming problem. I have a very old version of Photoshop so I dont think I can help very much. Good luck I hope you resolve it quickly :)

close photoshop and re open it. problem solved.
