Introduction:
Hello everyone,
This is Jinu. I'm very glad to share this tutorial with you. I know there are plenty of same kind of tutorials available here. Hence, many folks are struggling to understand it and having lots of questions about RAT (Remote Administration Tools). Here I started this tutorial from Basic to Advance. So everyone can understand how to handle the RAT and If they have any questions or problems, that too will get solved easily.This I share with you is what I have learned and with my experience. This tutorial is brought you by the great group RedLions. Okay, let us move on.


What is a RAT (Remote Administration Tool)?
RAT is an acronym of Remote Administration Tool. It's a program or software.
What a RAT allows you to do is to take full control of another one's computer without their knowledge.
There are many RATs (Remote Administration Tools) available in the market with different features. They are including free RATs and paid RATs. You can see all the RATs currently available in the market here.

How does it work (Working model)?
With the help of Remote Administration Tool, you will create one "Program". That is called "Server.exe". Once you send that to your friends or enemies, If they click that file, their computer details will be seen in your RAT. So you can control their PC, steal their passwords, watch their activities etc... without their knowledge. And It will be show like this:Spoiler (Click to View)


How to make your PC ready before start RATing?
While opening RAT, creating server.exe, opening ports, outgoing-incoming connections, your Anti-Virus or your firewall won't allow this process. It will affect your RATing process. So you need to completely disable your Anti-virus, firewall, and any other blocking software.
Okay, we move on to the next step.


What are the things require before you start RATing?
The Remote Administration Tool alone will not help you to RAT, someone. It requires some other tools too.

1. Remote Administration Tool. Click here to see all the RATs. You choice one. I have Chosen the RAT (Remote Administration Tool) called DarkComet 5.3 which is free and noob friendly for this Tutorial. Before you download, turn off your Anti-Virus and Windows Defender.
   
2. DUC client.Click here to download. or Free DNS client
   
3. Crypter (You have to buy or search for free one) I recommend you to use my friend's "Kazy Crypter".
   
4. VPN (Optional but recommended). (You have to buy in the market)
   
5. Virtual Machine (Optional but recommended)
   

Okay. I hope you have collected the things.

How to setup a RAT?
In this tutorial, I have chosen the RAT called DarkComet 5.3. And many of the RAT will have almost same settings like this.
The setup process will consist of:

1. Creating no-IP account. Or creating FreeDNS account.
   
2. Setup DUC client. Or setup FreeDNS client.
   
3. Setup your RAT.
   
4. Portforwarding.
   
5. Crypting
   
6. Spreading
   

1. Creating no-IP account or Creating FreeDNS:

I) To create an account in no-ip, first you have to go to the following URL:

III) Confirm your email and activate your no-ip account:

IV) Once you finished activated your account, you need to add a host.

2. Setting up the DUC client or Setting up the FreeDNS client:

Setting up the DUC client (Click to View) I hope you have downloaded the DUC client. If not, download it from here:

I) Install then open your DUC client and login.

II) Once you logged in, Click on the "Edit host"

3. Setup your RAT(Remote Administration Tool):
Don't panic. It's a piece of cake. I have chosen the RAT DarkComet. I hope you have downloaded that RAT client. If not, download it from here.

a.) If you do not have Crypter, go with this settings (Default settings):

If you do not have crypter, your server.exe which you are going to send to your enemies or friends will be detected by their Anti-Virus and It'll be deleted. So you cannot get them in your RAT. Anyhow, this way you need to setup your RAT. If you do not have a crypter.

I) Open up your DarkComet.exe. Once it opened, click on the "Dark-Comet" tab.

II) Then click on the "Server Module"> "Full Editor" as shown in the image below:


III) It will show you one page. In that, Click on the "Main Setting". And click 5 times on the "Random" button. Then fill the Server ID name and Profile name.


IV) Then click on the "Network Setting". Enter your no-IP and port.

Once you Click "Add", Click on your no-ip:port it will be shown like this:


V) Now click on the "Module Startup". Then select "Startup". Change the "Drop file into" to "APP#\". Then select "Persistence Installation".


VI) Click "Stub Finalization". Then select "Save Profile". Then Click "Build the Stub".
It will promote you to save a file. You can save that in your PC. That is called server.exe. Which you're going to share with your friends or enemies.


You're Done.

b.) If you have Crypter, go with this settings:

I) Open up your DarkComet.exe. Once it opened, click on the "Dark-Comet" tab.


II) Then click on the "Server Module"> "Minimalist" as shown in the image below:


III) Enter your "Stub ID" name. You name it whatever you want. Enter your no-ip address without mistake. And enter your port. Here I used 1604. And click "Normal". And save the server.exe somewhere and crypt it by using your crypter.


FAQS:
Spoiler (Click to View)1. Q. My Anti-virus alarm about this RAT tool what to do?
A. If your Anti-Virus Popup a window saying this RAT is a Virus, It is normal this program can be use for malicious reason that's why it's a false positive.

2. Q. I have downloaded my RAT when I extract it, some files are missing why?
A. Check your Anti-Virus and Windows defender status. You must disable it else it will delete your RAT.

3. Q. When I click listen ports, It shows listen error why?
A. Because you already listen to the same port.

4. Q. I have created the server.exe. When I run it on my PC, it does not work why?
A. If you want to check it in your PC, in the "Network setting" tab in IP/DNS enter the local host 127.0.0.1 instead of your no-ip address.

5. Q. I do not get any slaves
A. Check your DUC client is running. Check your ports are open. If you set password in the "Edit Server'", do not forget to apply exactly the same in the "Client Settings".

6. Q. I tested my server.exe in my VMirtual Machine. I don't get any sign of my PC list there.
A. Be sure use Bridge mode instead of NAT mode.

4. Portforwarding:
Note: If you're having VPN with open ports, you do not need to follow this step. You go ahead to the next step.

Many of them are thinking that portforwarding is the hardest part in RATing but that's not correct. This is a very easy part. There are few methods available: Portforward via router/modem, portforward via torrents and via software.
What we are going to do is, open the port in our network which we recently used in our RAT. That is 1604.

In order to open the ports, first you need to disable your blocking software such as like Anti-Virus. And you have to disable your Firewall.

a.)Method -1 Portforward via router/modem:

Spoiler (Click to View)I) Open your CMD in admin mode. (Right-click on your CMD and Run as Admin).

II) And in your CMD, type "ipconfig" and click enter.

III) It will show you your PC and your router/modem IPs. You see for the "Default Gateway". It will be like this: Example (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.0.1 or something else)

IV) Copy that "Default gateway" IP and paste in your browser and hit enter. Once you hit enter, It will navigate to your Modem/router login page.

V) You need to login. If you do not know your Router/Modem username and password, you can call your customer care but most of the login will be like this:

Or you can check in google with your router name. You can reset your modem/router to get back the default password.

VI) Once you logged-in, you can see your modem/router features and settings. This settings and features may vary depend on routers/modem model.
I'm having "Thomson Modem". So I can teach you with this modem.

VII) In modem, Navigate to toolbox>Game & Application sharing. Then click "Create a game or application."

In most of the modems/routers it will be in Advanced Setup, Portforwarding.

VIII) Enter the name of the application. I entered "Darkcomet RAT". Click next.

IX) Enter the port that you recently used in your RAT. That is 1604.

X) Now you need to assign that port. For that, Click on the "Assign a game or application to a local network device".

XI) Now select the name "DarkComet RAT" (which we recently created) from the list. And in the device select your current PC. If you're not sure about your PC name, click on "<User-Defined>" and enter your IPv4 Address. You can get your IPv4 address in the CMD by typing "ipconfig". Then click "Add". It will be added in the list.

XII) Check whether your router/modem is having firewall. If it has, disable it.

XIII) Now open your RAT. Then go to http://www.canyouseeme.org and enter your port. We have added 1604. So enter 1604 and click "Check Port".

XIV) If it gives this message: "Success: I can see your service on 117.213.33.136 on port (1604)
Your ISP is not blocking port 1604," you're successfully portforward .
And you're done. You can able to receive the connection from your victims.

b.) Method-2 Portforwarding via torrent:

II) Once you downloaded, open your utorrent and go to options>Preference.

III) In the preference, Click on the "Connection" tab then enter the port you used in your RAT. I used 1604 so I entered 1604 then Check mark the following options- UPnP port mapping, Enable NAT_PMP port mapping, and Add windows firewall exception. Then Click "Apply".

IV) Now open your Darkcomet RAT. And make sure it's listening to the port 1604.

V) Now open your RAT. Then go to http://www.canyouseeme.org and enter your port. We have added 1604. So enter 1604 and click "Check Port".

If it gives this message: "Success: I can see your service on 117.213.33.136 on port (1604)
Your ISP is not blocking port 1604," you're successfully portforward .
And you're done. You can able to receive the connection from your victims.

Q.When I type IP config, I do not see any default gateway or it shows me "0.0.0.0"
A. It shows, that you do not have access to your router. Sometime you do not need to portforward.Without portforward your RAT will work. Sometime you cannot portforward so you need buy an open ports VPN.

Q. I portforwarded correctly. When I check my ports on canyouseeme.org It gives me error.
A. Check whether your RAT is listening to the corresponding port. If not, listen the port. Check your DUC client has synchronized with your IP. Check whether you have disabled your firewall in your PC as well is in your modem/router.

Q. The port you used is blocked by your ISP.
A. Try to use some other port.

5. Crypting:
This is the ultimate stage in your RAT. You have fully set-up and portforward your RAT now you want to crypt it to protect your server.exe from your victim's Anti-virus.
For this you need a program called crypters. There are many crypters available in the market. You can buy or get free one. It will help you to protect your server.exe from your victim's Anti-Virus. You can see about crypters here: Cryptography, Encryption, and Decryption

5.Spreading:

There are many way to spread your RAT server. Here I have shared some basic methods.

Before you spread your server, make it FUD with the help of your crypter.
a.) The Torrent Method:-
Spoiler (Click to View) One of the good ways to spread is to create a torrent with your virus in it. You can get a torrented Skyrim, and bind Skyrim with your virus, and re-upload it to famous torrent websites. (Example: piratebay.) Doing this can get you hundreds of slaves. I would also get a few friends to rate your torrent well, because if you don't, expect your torrent to get some bad ratings if people figure out its backdoored. Else either your torrent will be removed or you will be banned from the site.

b.)The Omegle Method:-
Spoiler (Click to View)This one is simple. This requires social engineering skills, though. Basically what you can do is go on Omegle and say something like attractive or something. Basically get the person to want a photo pack of you. Then, bind your virus to a few photos you can get offline. Ask them to see and tell them what you think, and boom. You got you a slave. This is slow, but you can kinda pick out who you want as a slave.

c.) The YouTube Method:-
Spoiler (Click to View)For this you need a fake program. Get one fake program. For example (COD crack or any other games trainers). Bind your virus with the fake program and make one video and upload it on Youtube with your virus link. Boost your Youtube video views and likes and comments by using any social boost. You'll get some loads of slaves.

How to don't lose your slaves?

Losing slaves may get irritate. The main causes is due to your server got detected by your slaves Anti-Virus, your server may not executed correctly due to .net requirement, your server may killed by others server(botkilled). To don't lose your slaves, you need to update your server of your slaves. And keep it FUD. To update your server:
I) Create new server.exe in your RAT. (Use Crypter settings)

II) Then crypt your server by using your crypter. Make sure use "Persistence" in your crypter and also Ani-Botkill (If available)
PS: I recommend you to use no dependency crypters.

III) Upload your server in to any host with direct link. Example: ge.tt

IV) Then right click on your slave whom you want to update and Click "Update from URL" or click F7 button.

VI)Or Right click on your slave whom you want to update and click "Update from file" or F8 button. Select your file and click OK.

This way you can update your server and keep your slaves without losing them.

How to hide yourself?

I always recommend you to use VPN and Virtual Machine.
There are many different VPN's out there and the main difference between all of them is the encryption, if it supports port forwarding and if the VPN stores log files it's not good.
It's important to have a VPN which doesn't store any log files at all. Log files are files which are kept if you surf around on the internet using that VPN.
Encryption is basically how strong the connection between you and the VPN is coded.
And the port forwarding part is also important to people who RAT, because some people have routers which don't support port forwarding at all. So go with VPN that supports portforward plus no logs. I recommend you to use nVPN: http://www.nvpn.net

-When you are using a VPN, always make sure you are using (listening) to that port before checking on a website like; http://www.canyouseeme.org
-Always make sure to run your VPN as an administrator.
Using a Virtual Private Server(VPS), is also a good thing to do. You will basically have a virtual computer where you can do whatever on. You can find some good VPS providers in this list: http://www.bestvpsproviders.com/


How to remove RAT infection from your PC?
While RATing, you may get infected or not. You may know or not.That's not a big problem you can remove it by yourself.

a.) Darkcomet RAT remover:

How to play with your slaves?
There are lots of fun stuff available to play with your victims. It will be fun at the same time dangerous too so look before you leap.

You can earn money with your slaves by viewing your adfly, adocus...etc links. This is simple to do. You need some loads of slaves from various countries to earn a lot. And you can do this by using the option called "Visit webpage"

Mining:
Some new RATs are built with miner support. With that you can earn cryto currencies. It depends on your slaves system configuration.

DDOS:
If you're really have loads of slaves, you can do DDOS services to earn money.

For all, you need loads of slaves. If you cannot able to get slaves, you can buy slaves from the market. You can also try botnets to earn a lot. I'll make seperate tutorial soon.

How to bind your server with another file?:
A binder is a tool that does what it says, it binds multiple files together into an application. It is important to note that binding a file might cause your server to become detected, so it's always better to use your crypter's. The output of your file is going to be an executable when you bind things together, which is why spoofing and icon changing come to be useful, it is also why choosing a good crypter is an important step. You can use (Celesty Binder) that comes with DarkComet. Most of the crypters are build with binders.

How to change your server icon?

a.)ResHacker Method:

2. Open it up and find the exe you want.
3. Expand Icon Group, and find the Icon you want
4. Right click the resource and choose the second Save Icon Group
5. Save the icon somewhere
6. Now open up your server with ResHacker and head back to Icon Group
7.Right click the resource and press Replace Resource
8. Click on 'Open file with a new icon' and choose the Icon you saved or found online,
9. Press Replace.
10.Now go to File, and choose Save As.
b.)Icon Changer Tool method:-

How to spoof your server?:
Spoofing is where you alter the extension of the file to display it as something else. Most crypters come with this features.

a.)Manual Method:-

3. Rename your file, by right clicking before the '.' in your extension and paste the character, using Ctrl + V and type your needed extension in reverse.

Let me first state that I'm not at all interested in any form of mainstream RATs so this tutorial does not interest me personally.

That being said, having created many tutorials myself, I know how incredibly time consuming this must have been. Everyone reading this should stop and say thank you to OP (even if you're like me and are not interested in RATTING) because his hard work and several hours that he put into this thread are going to immensely help those that need it. Goodies isn't interested in RATTING because he couldn't figure out how to set one up. He asked me to team viewer with him to setup his Darkcomet.
