you get them at unconfirmed when a block is solved in the pool

Thats because you get paid when the block ends. The current block hasn't ended yet, therefore no unconfirmed balance.

There hasn't been a block in 11 hours on my pool and the network seems fucked at the moment, 2Gh/s with 0 blocks in 25 mins
