I got a call from a friend, i declined, he sends me a message saying can you not hear me? I'm just like "what?". Apparently my skype accepted the call yet I'm not in a call. My skype shows me NOT being in a call. That's really scary. Why did it do that?

You should uninstall your old Skype version and Download again the new version on the Official Website.
Maybe you are infected by a virus.

i have the updated version and got it from skype. I'm not infected. I found out my android phone picks ups my calls when i decline on pc. That's what skype support said.

My iphone does the same thing sometimes. Skype for Phone is very buggy/laggy. Also with PC skype.

Not saying you did but maybe in the past you had keys set to answer calls and decline calls. Skype has that option, I don't use it personally but I have friends that accidentally accept calls all the time

uninstall skype, retart and install. make sure you clear temp folder.
