[+] Website [+]

Hello

ClamAV is the best Anti-Virus for Linux.
But, it's really user-dependent.

That means that it depends for a part on you if your PC is clean or not.
And we all now, that ClamAV and especially some special commands aren't easy to use at all!
I personally found that as well.

That's why I made a special program in the programming language C++ called ClamAV-Easy!
Yeah, the name says it all! ClamAV can be easy!

I took the most for common ClamAV options and replaced them with easier ones, and added some extras as well.
Like an Analyse function who displays infected files and move them to a folder where you can analyse them.
But of course also just a standard option which updates the Virus Database, scans your whole PC, and remove all the infections, just for you! :)
Isn't that great?

Easy-to-use:
Yes, ClamAV-Easy is made to be easy. Tough Anti-Virus applications can cause trouble. The commands/options are often hard to use and maybe you could make an mistake and let malware enter your PC! With ClamAV-Easy, you don't have that risk anymore.

Linux only:
Sorry for the Windows-users, but ClamAV is mostly Linux based so I didn't saw a need to make it for Windows.
However, You can use ClamAV-Easy for your Virtual Machine as well!

Open source:

^The GUI is the default ClamTK ones. :)
Nice work as usual Niely, wish I had the patience for C++ 😅
I have found an issue with your site, OP. I have contacted you about it and supplied you information on what to do for an easy fix.

^Thanks for reporting it. :)
Taking care of it now.

Thanks for the nice reaction! :)
I first also wasn't motivated to learn C++.

But my (accidentally) 'switch' to Linux forced me to quit vb.NET and start learning C++. :)
I do think the source should be available to all members... That's sort of the point of open-source and linux in general. Nonetheless, great work!
^Thank you very much for the reaction! :)
I also thought about making it open-source, but was a bit afraid that the more experienced programmers would came in and just rudely change the code is bad etc.

In Legion, I don't need to be 'afraid' of that because there are no rude members there. ;)

Anyway, thank you very much for the reaction! :D
I noticed a thing, when you do the install command it uses apt-get. I am on Arch and it just fails.

You need to use the Pacman command to install it:
Code
Pacman -S clamav

Seems like there is no other way to do it. :)
Will take a look if I can make something that checks the OS/Kernel version to make it responsive with other Linux distributions as well.

Anyway, tell me if it works well on Arch (besides this small problem). ;)

Thank you very much for using it! 👍

I did that, but with yaourt, it's a pacman wrapper.

But, it doesn't work?
Once ClamAV is installed right ClamAV-Easy should easily do the job (normally).

Everything just says done 100% right after I launch it.

^100%? :P
That's weird, I didn't even included that in my program, just [Done].

Anyway, I'll try to help you further.
Can you make a screenshot of it? What command did you used, the -standard one?
Seems to work now, thanks anyways for wanting to help me.
