I haven't registered but the site looks amazing and you already have a couple members. Goes to show how quality creates results.
One thing though, you have a lot of sub forums and not many threads. I would suggest you create some type of guide about each game/sub forum so that people have a reason registering. Since you have little to no content and users, posting some relevant content would be beneficial to getting some users. I have no experience with forums, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I just think it would help for gaining initial traction. I don't have much interest ing gaming anymore (except bf3 xD), but it looks great and I am confident you will have a huge community. Good luck!

Site looks very good. Although under RPG section you should include World of Warcraft, as it's quite popular.
You should include Starcraft 2 under Strategy, as it's also quite popular. You could add Diablo 3 under Action, as it's considered an Action-RPG. I've hit 20 posts. Content is very important. I've been writing some myself and the community we have so far has been discussing some stuff too, which is amazing to see. I'll try and fill up sections. We can do a gaming approach or just a general discussion approach a lot of forums have. We do have a few general forums if you want to join and post there, and I'm a big Battlefield 3 fan myself. Our aim was to make sure all board official things are as professional as possible, so even the help documents might get a rewrite and a layout change. Of course, activity, threads etc are meant to be fun and chill, but all official things look better as professional to me. (Jul 28, 2014 03:10 AM)Doxicity Wrote: Site looks very good. Sections will now be created when there is activity in the lounges to back them up, and of course all threads related to the game moved.
I think I'll register to the site now!

We plan to renovate how forums are done here, expect extreme changes, because I reevaluated what a forum should be, and to be quite honest I think everyone selling usergroups, custom awards, four usergroups, stickies and all of that stuff since day 1 should reevaluate what they're doing. Our changes are drastic, and completely eliminate most stuff that ruins a forum. These changes can take up to a week of constant work.
We don't have those things already, but it's time to focus on what's most important - we are making a forum board. That should say a lot. Thanks for everyone with us so far, we're going nowhere. |
