Is it better to monetize with a blog or a website ?

I know using ads and such is a great way, but also using file lockers in the content is common with blogs.

So is a website more "reliable " or is a blog just as great ?

Depends how you plan on gaining traffic and your knowledge.

I'd say for sure to use a blogging software like Wordpress if you plan on utilizing SEO as most of Wordpress is already optimized. That being said if you know your way around SEO make a website.

Thank you, I don't really have great SEO skills so I will probably stick with a blog and move to a site later on if I feel like that will help gain reputation.

Thats true its more "customizable" but if you don't need a bunch of the "added" things for your market I don't know why a site would be better.
