Got a BSOD

(Jun 24, 2014 03:43 PM)'Fox Wrote:  D: you didn't read my edit, I'd prefer to not reformat

The term is not reformat, but repair. All files will remain intact and Windows components and settings would be repaired. Aura is more than welcome to still troubleshoot as you wish since there seems to be more to do.

My bad OP, I guess I posted at the same time you edited 😝
If you can't fix it, I can come over Teamviewer and see what I can do.

These BSODs are related to your AMD graphic card.
Please download the latest graphic card drivers for your graphic card from here : http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
After the installation, restart your computer and update your Windows Performance Index score : http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/263...score.html

Report back if you get more BSODs after that.

I already have the latest graphics drivers for my gpu, and I still get the bsod.

I refreshed my windows experience index again just now, though.

If the index score wasn't refreshed, its possible that it was causing the BSODs. Let try like that for now and if you get more BSODs report back here.

Just got it again with windows index refreshed + latest drivers.
What tasks are you doing when this happens, is there a heavy load on the GPU?
Just have a suspicion it may be temperature related... Don't shoot me if I'm way off the mark on this.

I was just on chrome when this happened.
Are you running an overclock? Run GPU z and log the temperatures to a log file. Check the log the next time it Bsod's.

Is it the same kind of BSOD ? Same BCCode, same drivers involved, etc. ?
