The LQ example you gave is how most people their threads. If they got rid of that (and others like it), what would be a way to imply we are ing the thread other than saying Bump.

What if someone in that section posts something and they delete it, just because they don't want to say that anymore or something and not just to it? It says "automatic" so if I post a thread then say something and delete it a week later.. is that a "automatic" ban?

Obviously they would do it only once and Staff/Admins can see it in the thread notes. We don't ban for that.

What about if a member is compiling a thread, which exeeds the character count and they require you to post and then delete that post, so they can use an extra post slot on said thread?

That happens only when members are posting Feedback threads/Tutorials. That's understandable.

I'm yet to see such activity in the marketplace section.

This has been a rule for a long time but nobody seems to care in the marketplace, I've seen people do it a lot. From now on you deserve what you get because that rule has been reinforced 👍

Funny how some of you get your trusted friends/partners to indulge in PBD in your thread rather yourself to escape/bypass rules. I've compiled my little list of such wizards. Be assured, I've you on my radar. What's more ironic is after my thread, this activity has increased manifold.
