[Vegas]

Name: Vegas
English Level (?/10): Solid 10.
Favourite anime and why?: Neon Genesis Evangelion in terms of flat-out favorite. Nostalgia, love for mech and reasons pertaining to friends in person. In terms of just being a quality anime, I'd say FLCL. In so many ways it is a perfect starting anime, but it also holds value that a seasoned watcher can appreciate.
Section you wish to write for: Gaming. Particularly because I play a notable amount of anime infused games across a bunch of genres. More often than not my gaming time is going into either a Final Fantasy title, BlazBlue/Persona 4, or (lately) Muramasa: Rebirth. I'd be an invaluable asset but more importantly a fun partner in a common environment.
Regardless, I'm up for proofreading if its ever necessary. No need to fill a position for it, being that I never go a day without visiting the site.

English Level (?/10):
Varies between 7 - 9, depending on topic and required formality.

Favourite anime and why?:
Kiniro Mosaic. A rather unusual choice, but to me the anime adaptation was executed perfectly: comedy was great, CVs did a great job (especially Nao Touyama) and not many can compete in my books in terms of enjoyment.

Section you wish to write for:
Not writing, but I would be fine with being one of the Proofreaders. I've picked up a few mistakes before, and my English SHOULD be satisfactory to fit the role.

Updated the OP with filled rolls and will be pm'ing some people soon.

Okai - the overhaul of AA Weekly and the team is soon to be happening. I predict the next week or two - I'm hoping to accept many writers to help out so apply now if you want to be in the first wave of writers.

On top of that, may as well say now, I don't expect there to be any delay in service, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was one.

[Gladly]

Edit: College and work stuff is taking up most of my time, I may not be able to do this:/
Spoiler (Click to View)English Level (?/10): I'd give it a solid 9 or 10. I almost never make spelling mistakes or grammatical mistakes.

Favourite anime and why?: My favorite anime is Neon Genesis Evangelion. I enjoy it's symbolism, character archetypes, unique plot, and memorable fight scenes. I like how it reflects the darkest part in Hideki Ano's life; you can tell he expressed his emotion in Eva just by the tone. Plus, I just enjoy giant mechs beating stuff to a pulp.

Section you wish to write for: Anime/Japan news is what I'd want to write for. I enjoy being on top of what new anime comes out, what's getting a new season, etc. You can tell I do just by my recent threads and posts. If you want, I could even write a sample article to show my writing skills/style.

Note: I just felt it'd be important to note that I wouldn't be able to start writing for this upcoming Monday, but for the next one after that I could. I unfortunately don't have access to a computer at the moment. :(

Thanks for reading my application, good luck to everyone!

Favourite anime and why?: It's hard to answer this question. I have many "favorite" anime, the ones that pops up in my head now are Black Lagoon and Code Geass.
I'll explain why I like Black Lagoon only for now as it would've been to much if I explain both.
Explanation (Click to View)I love Black Lagoon because it's reality based even though it is not. It takes place in a lawless country, so I guess your question is how I can call that reality based? It's based on the reality of how we human beings are, disgustingly greedy, always those with power that runs most illegal things (CIA ran the church, sold weapons and dope). I also love how they made the character stay with the "pirates" instead of going back to that scum company since he understood how fake they were. And I loved the animation & music it had.

Here is a AMV, it makes me orgasm:

Section you wish to write for: Headlines
Why do i want to take care of Headlines? (Click to View)
I want to take care of the Headlines because I feel the need to be up to date with Japanese news especially since I plan to spend the rest of my life there after graduating. And this would be a good way to make me keep up to date with the Japanese news.

Favorite anime and why?:High school DxD as it was the first anime I watched and actually liked

English Level (?/10): 9/10
Favorite anime and why?: Naruto Shippuden, and not because it's a "starter anime," but because I feel like Naruto is one of those animes that has progressed so far since the beginning and it's also more relatable than most.
Section you wish to write for: I would like to write for the Music or Gaming section. Music is what keeps me alive, and being able to write about it in the AA would be a pretty amazing achievement. Also, I'm not in Instinct for an unknown reason. I love games, and it's one of my addictions, writing about it is the least that I could do. :)

(Also, I know I'm not very active in the AA section, but I plan on changing that in the future. I've just been really busy lately. Thanks for reading my application.)
