So i just randomly stumbled across this project called SmoothVideo which allows you to watch anime or whatever you want in 60 FPS. It is pretty heavy on the PC so make sure you have a decent one before trying it out.
Just finished watching my first anime with this, it's super smooth and action scenes looks absolutely beast in 60 FPS although some normal scenes looked kind of weird (might be because i'm not used to it).
Personally i'm running this on MPC-HC with MadVR and xy-VSFilter.

Obviously this is not for everyone but your opinion is important nonetheless, so discuss!

No problems, also be sure to share your thoughts if you end up trying it.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I may give this a shot later on, thanks for this Insane.

What media player do you use? I know for sure that both MPC-HC and Potplayer works.
If you decide to install MPC-HC be sure to get the 32 bit version.

My default is either VLC or WinMediaPlayer.

They are probably not supported then, sadly.

Somehow i've never stumbled across that codec pack, going to check it out when i wake up.
I'll give it a try once I finish the newest episode of ZnT and give my thoughts.
Welcome to the COCH section.
Where all we do is shitpost.
Ah intermediate frames, the thing is some scene changes and movements which are meant to be sudden will become sluggish and predictable.
Basically what it does is takes the previous frame and fades it into the next.
On a 120/144Hz monitor it will be extrapolating a shit ton of frames, enjoy your blur fest.
Also VSync.

Yeah some scenes looked really weird, going to test 48 fps and see if it looks better after breakfast.
Will be trying this out, thank you for sharing.

Does this affect your internet? Since it's better quality

This is for downloaded files and not website streaming so it only affects your PC performance.
