Would you mind sharing your method? I have two VPS and this is how I could pay them :D
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but I haven't seen it so I'll post here anyways.
Roblox
For those of you who know what it is, you are probably laughing or thinking I'm an idiot. For those who don't know, Roblox is a game design platform targetted at younger kids (think 8-12). Basically, users can create games out of blocks and scripts using their software, and other people play it.
So how do you make money from this?
Recently, Roblox has employed this strategy known as "DevEx." It allows any player who makes games to cash out their in game money for USD. Only the premium currency (which exists solely due to purchases of the currency), can be exchanged for real money, and it's at a rate much lower than how much people get for buying it. However, the most popular games that have employed decent monetization techniques are making of hundreds of thousands of dollars a day. Your competition is a bunch of children so making a game that "stands" out isn't too hard if you have a decent imagination and an idea of scripting.
Anyways, the most popular games at any given time have 2,000-4,000 players playing at the same time. The reason why these games are making so much money is they sell things like admin, VIP, and other powerups for the Robux (the premium ingame currency) equivalent of a couple of dollars per purchase.
This is the sales of powerups for one of the most popular games right now:
The current exchange rate is 200$ per 100k robux, with a limit of 10k $ per month.
Once you get the hang of how everything works, It's not hard to make a successful game. With the ingame advertising features (pay ingame money to place advertisements on the website for your game) It's not hard to get your game the exposure necessary to become popular. Once you make a popular game, the next ones after that become easier to get players, as you already have relevance on the website. The most famous users all have 10+ games that have atleast 50 players on at all times, and reach the most popular games every now and then. There are people who have cashed out 10k, and many, many players are consistently cashing out 1-2k a month.

Hi,
I love this thread, and I've clicked on the signature of iClick and I've seen interesting things (I'm probably going to try to bot the mailing thing if possible, but this will be hard and boring to setup.)
Anyway, I'm a pretty a newcomer on making money on Internet, I've tested methods which doesn't work like using Adf.ly to bot new advertising companies and this got me 0 income (Sometimes less :) )
I've done one bot at Freelancer.com and got paid 20$ as my first bid, but this is hard to find something else like that to bid on.
I've also been using another site like Adf.ly and one catchy video on youtube to download 3GB of plugins, it was legit ... started to "earn" but no withdraw, thanks those scammers.
I've tried advertising on a modest site which is now down, but as always, the advertising company was bad and said goodbye to himself ... (Adsense banned too)
I've tried to do surveys but $10 a month for such time wasted is not what I want.
I did not tested PPD/CPA because I think people just start to know how to bypass or just leave the page when they see that, they are bored.
I have not tested blackhats methods because I'm too lazy for that (And because I'm not even thinking as a blackhat).
I actually earn a little from my passion.
I have another method which is giving me an average of $20 a month without doing anything, and with that I buy some music / a VPS ... I could share this method with you if this was available in your country, as this is not a pyramidal sheme I don't even care of giving you the site without a referral lnk. You know, those sites which purpose to refund your mobile credits by allopass on your paypal account. Kids love that. I've just put a single referral link of youpass.com on a well known site, this became autopilot and it grows a little each year. Perhaps, 50 years after I would earn $100 a month with it ... haha ...
I have others original ideas that could work too but this won't get me rich (Advertising on gameservers, doing a youtube channel, wash the windshields of cars at a red light, prostitute, play the lottery ...)
After all of that I'm thinking of getting a real job and start playing with stocks.
Hey man thanks for this great detailed information
hope others can also benefit from this
Looking to see some more responses from people, loving this thread so far.
I'm new here, people don't know me.
But take my advice: do not buy e-books and don't make an account on neobux. And instead of procrastinating and thinking about how to make some stupid 5$/day, do some real money. I just made 60 AUD e-whoring while hanging out with with a friend of mine. (He made more than me in the same time).
I'm thinking of investing that money into something that's not as stupid as an e-book or some neobux referrals. Something like taking some courses about writing. Now I'm thinking about writing an e-book and selling it on kindle. Then I'll invest that to learn some HTML and webdesign and make a website for myself. After that I'll want to make a website for my parent's tourism business which could really use some advertising. I'll then probably make a few more websites for some friends of mine who are willing to pay me, then I'll get more time and money to write another e-book. I've been doing all the market research and I know what e-book I should write.
In the meanwhile, the money I made e-whoring are blocked on my fake PayPal ("We're sorry, but we can't send your payment right now." - two weeks later, same error) and I cannot transfer them on my main account. On the other side, I just made a new bank account so I can link my main account and it seems they got something wrong with my card and I cannot link it.
So what did I get from this? 60 Australian Dollars? Nah, they are still blocked on that Wendy Smith account. I cannot invest anything and summer is ending, I'll have to start my 2nd year of computer engineering with which I cannot seem to get a job. So here I am, doing everything and nothing.
And here I am, procrastinating and writing this sad article instead of f*kin' try to solve that PayPal problems and start learning webdesign and actually make something.
But, there is a but! I had a lot of fun, I have ideas going, and my thoughts aren't blopping around my brain like some fat frog on some lilypads. I have some ideas and I HAVE to put them to the test. And afterall, if it won't get me money$cash€uros&dollar$, it will get me experience, which is all you need to be good @ life (Isn't that what life's about?).
This thread motivated me and I hope that my post motivated you! (Procrastinating basterds..)
PS: If you know anything about that PayPal error, let me know!

I am quite new to internet marketing. That being said I have some experience in sales and marketing and feel confident I will make money online in a seeable future. I will be focusing in affiliate marketing.
You have to look for ways to create a win-win-win situation.
I will let the community know how well my strategy works. Have a couple of idéas that I look forward to share if they happen to be successful.
Interesting thread so far. I gotta agree with what OP said earlier about ebooks, though...

snip
Seems that the best methods outlined here revolve around;
Having a marketable, sell-able skill / being able to produce a product, and
Selling that skill or product for a profit.
Not much different from a real job, I suppose!
As for me, I've made some decent money online making and selling some custom knives through other sites, as well as having some commissioned jewellery made and sold. Nothing that wouldn't be possible off the net, but there is a much wider audience online.
For the sake of keeping in format...
1.) The method;
A.) GET EDUCATED, LEARN A SKILL.
I'm going to school to learn a skill set I can sell [and that I love doing]. That's all there is to it. I'm going to college for an arts degree, majoring in metalworking and jewellery craft / design. As I start accumulating skills, I make things and I sell them, whether I'm made an offer by someone else to make something in specific for them, or if I'm just making objects to sell later.
B.) LEARN HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR SKILL.
I believe it's entirely crucial that anyone in this situation should begin to sell their work as soon as a possible, not just for money, but for the experience of selling, learning how to communicate and deal with customers, stuff like that. So, I've got some plans for a web page that will be up later this year, both as a gallery and a place to sell my creations, and in the meantime I take work when I can afford to spend time on it [school is expensive, dammit]. At the same time, I'm continually asking my professors for business advice as well as technical advice; since they've been 'around the block' five times or more before I was born, they have tonnes of helpful information. Take advice you get from people who are where you want to be seriously.
2.) Did it work;
Since I've started selling a little while ago this summer [while working a full time job], I've made a few hundred dollars from my knives, each selling for about $150 - $250 apiece. I've made a little less from my jewellery, although not by much. I have some rings to make in the next month or two as well. Each should net about $350 and the buyer wants at least four, so I'm quite excited about that. To be clear, each ring will only take between one and two hours to make... at the least, that's the same as being paid $175 an hour. Not bad for someone only two years into a degree. Income will increase as I find myself with more time to spare, as I take less time to do quality work, and as my skills improve.
There are plenty of places I've already sold a few items online, mostly through friends accounts since I haven't the time to set up a permanent place myself yet. Instagram is an excellent place to buy and sell knives and jewellery, I've found. Odd, but I've seen thousands of dollars of product being sold within less than a week, at least when looking at some people. Point being, you need to find the appropriate avenues through which you can garner enough attention to yourself that you make profit. Once I start selling on Etsy, I'll be having LOTS of competition, while my home page will be all my own.
IMPORTANT!
Now, the wonderful thing about this "method" is that it's applicable to EVERYONE. I know not everyone can afford to go off to college, or is in a position where it would be possible even if money were available, but I'm assuming that since you're reading this, you can access the internet and have the means to do so. There are literally hundreds of thousands of hours worth of material on any single subject you can think of that you might want to learn on the internet. The beautiful thing is that once you know where to look, it's easy to get started. Once again I highly suggest taking the advice of professionals seriously. And I don't mean people who are making money, I mean people who are doing STUPID good for themselves.
Lol i agree with everthing you said
Well I haven't really profited from this in a while, but when i was younger I would do people's online college courses for money. It was good work maybe 250-500 a course based on the work. Then after that was done I would go on sites like scribd or something and sell the rewritten essays and test answers.
I made a good $2,000 from the courses themselves and about 50 a week from people buying the test answers(The essays didn't sell for much.) But that stopped after the course changed up their test answers and I had to delete em. Did build up my work ethic tho.
I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
