Saves the info to the registry system so if the tool gets deleted, re downloaded you don't lose nothing.
It's nothing fancy or anything.

And here is another one i have made recently, This one actually encrypts all the info and also has a password lock on it.

That is pretty cool! I have a webserver with all of my notes, but I didn't think people would trust that so I made it local :P

How local ? a .txt file ?
Best to use registry system then the user can not accidentally delete it. if you want i can show you examples of how to add to the registry, read, edit and delete.
Thanks

Stores it in a "file" file. But yes I'd love that

Ok here you go, ive tryed to explain a few things clearly.
To Create the Key\Sub Key
Code My.Computer.Registry.CurrentUser.CreateSubKey("NameOfTool\Whatever")
Basically the key should be the name of your app/tool, the sub key is the name of like a folder.
To add an item
Code My.Computer.Registry.SetValue("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\NameOfTool\Whatever", "name", "value")
The name is the name of what you are saving. For example if it was your home address the name would be "Home Address" and the value would be the "address"
To List them
Code Dim ListIt() As String = My.Computer.Registry.CurrentUser.OpenSubKey("NameOfTool\Whatever").GetValueNames
For Each list As String In ListIt
ListBox1.Items.Add(list)
Next
Adds all the items in the Key\Sub key by "name"
To delete an item
Code Dim regKey As Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey = My.Computer.Registry.CurrentUser.OpenSubKey("NameOfTool\Whatever", True)
regKey.DeleteValue("name")
Deletes the item by "name"
To check to see if its worked just run Regedit tool(start menu then either run or search "regedit")
Hope it helps.
Thanks

That's probably not a good idea.
I haven't used CodeManager yet, but there's a good chance that the code (or passwords in your case) are stored as plain text, seeing as there's no real need to encode/decode source codes on a private computer.
the download link doesnt work anymore :(

Kiddin'? The registry not for kind data. You aren't supposed to flood it with those kind of data chunks.

Lets be honest, any program from HF thats for security or protection is 90% very doubtfull. I rather make it myself ^^
