You didnt even mention masking Or Unlinking etc. . . This makes no sense for a good shine effect.

It's a nice tutorial but in my opinion you don't go through every available option.
You should explain in depth how to make a nice shine effect instead of including your own in case people already don't know how.
At least I didn't think the shine effect was explained well.

Keep in mind, the more frames you add the smoother the shine effect will be.
Max file size on HF is 500K but I doubt it will exceed that with this simple effect so it doesn't hurt to throw a bit more frames in there.
