HF is affected because the tools that attacked van dyke were claiming to be doing it in the name of HF. At that point, he made an account here and screenshotted the entire thread and uploaded it to one of his websites. Had the shit really hit the fan, Omni could have gotten slapped with a subpoena for the information of everyone involved, and then a lot of you would be getting grounded with no bedtime snack after the sheriffs department came knocking on your doors.

It's the same reason we have a policy not to deface or attack any other sites in the name of HF. Omni doesn't want to catch backlash for something he isn't involved in.

Some people are dumb. One of the number one rules to follow in life is to never fuck with lawyers.
