Now that PayPal is in partnership with BitPay..Bitcoin, looks very promising. Those who didn't panic sell, at $380/lower. Goodjob. 🤝

The recent news of PayPal integration of Bitcoins really helped the price climb again. Hopefully there isn't any form of off-chain payment system for Bitcoins though...

I'm surprised to see such a low rise in price. I believe many people are skeptical of PayPal given all the trouble many have had in the past with them. Though it may not be an immediate rise like I expected ($50+) we should see the price start climbing now at least.
Its not that big of a deal. PayPal partnered with other payment processor. Its no more special to other news like Dell, Dish ... "accepting" it via a third party.

Wait till PayPal really accept and integrate Bitcoin then you will see a huge price rise.

Actually it's much, much larger than those companies accepting it. The fact that the largest payment processor is going to allow BTC to be processed is huge. It allows regular people to be able to pay and accept BTC with little to no knowledge about how it works. Bringing it to the masses does a great deal in terms of acceptance amongst the general population.

Exactly, I consider that huge news.

Yeah this is great news even if they use a third party. I believe it will slowly rise now
Hello :D I'm thinking of investing my weekly earnings into buying bitcoins. I make roughly £200 - £500 a week. Is it worth it? My plan would be buying and selling them.
Thanks for any info!

I didn't mean that its not a good news.
But dont expect that news to make Bitcoin pump high.

Please tell me why I should not. It does more than any single piece of news that I can remember about bitcoin.

I'd say so, it's relatively cheap right now.

The ideal rate is 1:1 with no extra charges. CoinBase and BTC-E offer better rates than trading on HackForums.

There are many projects in the work right now which could have a massive impact on the price. One of the most recent ones is the announcement by PayPal in which they stated they have now partnered with several payment processors in the bitcoin scene. Once we see this, among other projects, come to fruition then we should (hopefully) be seeing an increase in price.

It's difficult to say. It's likely that more companies may start to accept bitcoin around the holidays if other companies find success with it. That would give even more of a market for the coin to be used in which could cause a bit of a price rise.

However you want. Do not invest money you are willing to lose and my honest advice is to do the research yourself in order to be confident. With that being said, I myself have invested more now because I believe this to be close to the low point, if not the low point itself.

Would investing is Gawminer hashlets be profitable and worth it?
Ok lets say that I have around $20K to invest.

Would it be better for me to invest in coins out right and hold on to them. Or should I start getting mine rigs (I have a rack and the ability to set it up, plus I end up getting paid at the end of the month for the power I put back into the grid so I will probably just break even or hardly spend on the power)
