Hey guys. I'm mildly curious to see if you guys have any genre(s) that you simply can't watch.

Mine personally would have to be Harem. I absolutely despise the genre.

Not really, but I generally don't like mechas. I watch some though, if they contain other things that is interesting to me.

Infinite Stratos is bad even for harem standards.

I'm not a big fan of mecha either and I don't like action-focused Shounen most of the time, but there is no genre I wouldn't watch at all.

I don't like most mechas, but the biggest genre I despise is historical.. OMG they all suck to me.

A bit picky when it comes to anime, but I can watch just about anything when it comes to being mixed properly.

Ecchi - I don't mind this as long as it is mixed in properly.
Harem - Honestly hate watching an anime where there is one male and seven females.
Romance - Like Ecchi, I don't mind this as long as it is mixed in properly with other genres.
Yuri/Yaoi - Both are too weird for me, I don't even want to go into detail.
Comedy/Parody - I have a hard time trying to follow Japanese humor. Especially when it is being translated to English. Though I do like comedy, as long as it is mixed in properly.

Harem/ecchi it's horrible feels like it was single handedly made for fanservice and has no real decent plot

I tend to watch anything, but if I had to pick a genre it would probably be Mahou Shoujo, if you can call that a genre, and of those, typically the ones aimed at the younger audience such as Shugo Chara. I watched all of it and, well, I kind of wanted to jump into a pit full of razors and have lemon juice poured over me. Ilya Prisma (Mahou Shoujo version of Fate) is on the border of being tolerable.

I try to stay away from the sports genre, it is completely horrible in my eyes. Not sure why though. Other than that I watch pretty much anything as long as the story is good.

Mine would have to be mecha. Don't really hate it, but just not that fond of it. Others genres I don't have problems with.

I don't like mecha, but I've seen some good ones before so I try not write them off when recommended to me. I like most genres though just depends how well it's been put together.
