Shinobu has won the final round with 16 votes! Mashiro Shiina only managed to gather 9 votes. However, she still earned herself the respectable second place.

Closing words

First of all, I'm really sorry about the delay. Life has been rather turbulent the past week and this competition kind of got swept under the rug. However, I really wanted to give this a proper ending.

With that said, I hope you guys had fun with this competition. Although there were some obstacles along the way (and the way I run it wasn't necessarily perfect either) I found it to be an entertaining experience overall. I generally think contests like this are a nice way to bring the community (or parts of it) together and I was pretty happy when Jay started it. However, since he vacation banned himself it kind of died, which I was rather sad about. I decided to ask him if I could continue it and now we're here. This was my first time hosting a contest like this and I appreciate all of the feedback given by you guys.

I'm happy that the participation was provided during all of the rounds, with some dropping out after their favorite girl got kicked out and some joining along the way. I also haven't received any death threats, which is nice.

I hope that the result is one that most of you can live with. I was extremely annoyed when Ai Fuyuumi got kicked out after the first round and when Eu lost to Shiina later on but there'll always be one's personal favorites losing in these types of competitions, there's not much that can be done about that.
Ai Fuyuumi is the true best girl though.

I'll always recommend the Japanese dub with English subs. I have always had a bias toward them. 🤭
