I can vouch that Tatsuya needs more sacrifices, but at the same time a lot of the other characters get screen time as well and the plot is kind of meh, so I'm not sure it'll be able to keep you in as well as some other shows might be able to.

I am surprised nobody has said this, but Ichigo is in no way an overpowered character. He gets his ass handed to him against nearly everyone/everything he fights, and then he has to do all this "inner mind training" to become the badass that he is.

Definitely not overpowered.

You could also try watching Kiba and s-CRY-ed; However, I do not believe any of the main characters to be overpowered.

He didn't die, the manga got a sequel called Tokyo Ghoul : RE which happens 3 years after TG manga, where the MC is Sasaki Haise and he's apparently Kaneki, however we don't know if he's brainwashed, if he had amnesia from getting 2 holes in his brain or whatever the fuck happened because now he's in the CCG

I watched the mondaiji-tachi anime guys,it is on the list.
Ao no exorcist is,too.
The oniisama anime, watched it too. (kinda weird brother-sister complex)
So far Rurouni Kenshin & Inuyasha.
And yes,Ichigo is overpowered by far,compare Ichigo with mc of other animes:
Lelouch - Would he stand a chance? Nope
Would Luffy stand a chance against him? Nope

Ichigo is OP, he trains and is very strong.
