I wouldn't have went all out on an iMac; although they're definitely something you can't say shit about until you have one. I have a MBP (would have gotten an iMac if I didn't have my W8.1 desktop). Enjoy it, MacOS is beautiful and so is your computer!

Well here is your answer:

For what you're doing (internet and league), it will perform very well. Neither use any sort of resources.

For any type of higher-end gaming, like battlefield, you'll choke at even resolutions well below 4k. Which will then look like shit, since it is not the native resolution.

For CPU intensive applications, like video rendering, you'll perform well, as high as the quad core i7 non-over clocked will go. Which isn't near as high as say, an over clocked 5820k 6 core.
