How to:
Acquire Omnicoin

You will need:
A bitcoin wallet
Some bitcoin
an Internet connection!

How to obtain BITCOIN: Click Here.

How to set up a BTC WALLET: Click Here.

How to set up an internet connect: Click Here. (UK)

Step One:
Sign up at AllCrypt

First up, we want to sign up at AllCrypt.

Sign up is simple, and takes no more then 5 minutes.

Now we want to head to the Balances Tab. on AllCrypt. We should be welcomed with a screen like this:

Screenshot (Click to View)
On the BTC (Bitcoin) row, you will need to click, "Get Address" :- on the screenshot I have already done this, as you can see, it shows a BTC address.

Step Two:
Getting our BTC into AllCrypt Balance.

With this out of the way, we are going to launch our BTC Wallet (in this case, I am using Multibit client).

Screenshot (Click to View)

With our wallet, we are wanting to navigate to the 'Send' section. From here we can send out our bitcoins to other people, this is including AllCrypt. In the 'Address' box, we are going to paste in our AllCrypt Deposit address.

Screenshots (Click to View)

We are going to want to put in how much bitcoin we want to deposit in the deposit box, in this instance, I am going to be transferring 0.01 BTC to AllCrypt.

Step Three:
Setting up your OMC Wallet.
(This is the best time to do this - Because your BTC will take about an hour to be verified into your AllCrypt account.)

To set up our OMC Wallet, we are going to want to visit OmniChain. On this site, we want to click Wallet, then click "Don't have an account?".

Screenshots (Click to View)

When this is complete you will need to sign in Here. You have now set up your OMC wallet.

Step Four:
Converting BTC to OMC w/ AllCrypt.

Come back to AllCrypt. and now click Markets. Come down to OMC/BTC or click Here. You will see quite a confusing screen, let me explain.

Screenshot (Click to View)

What you want to do is, fill out and tick the boxes how they're done in the screenshot below (IN THE BUY ORDER!)

Screenshot (Click to View)

Market Order must be ticked if you want your OMC in seconds! When you're happy with the amount of btc you've entered, click "Submit Buy Order" and, give it a minute, then go to your balances. In your balances, tick this

[Image: V5nt5uS.png] and you should see OMC and BTC. Depending on how much BTC you put into OMC, you will have X amount of OMC. You MAY still need to wait until your BTC deposit has been finalized, if you do, give it an hour or two, then, when you have X amount of OMC, and no pending btc balance, click the 'Withdraw Button' in the OMC row.

Step Five:
Into your OMC wallet

Head back over to OmniChain and login to your Wallet. Click the RECEIVE tab, and copy this address

Screenshot (Click to View)

go back to AllCrypt, and paste your OMC address into the withdraw address.

On Omnichain, go to the home tab, you may need to refresh, but you should see X amount of Omnicoin in the uncofirmed balance, which is at the bottom of the table.

Thank you!
Great TUT for begginers, maybe add something about acquiring OMC by mining using something like Nicehash or Betarigs.

I'm learning crypto currency studying it quite well in my spear time, haven't done too much on mining quite yet, but when I've done more on it, I will.
Really nice tutorial. This will definitely help a lot of people out.
Great tutorial man. There are a lot of members asking for help recently, so this is very useful.

I have added this to the official sticky 🤝

Thanks, appreciate this! May update and put some more stuff on the thread to come!
Great tutorial, to be honest I didn't know how to use Allcrypt. Can use this tutorial whenever I have some BTC to buy OMC.

One tip to all, Don't be dumb, NEVER use allcrypts anonymous feature. No matter how good it sounds it completely removes all methods of retrieval if you lose access.

Haha, I almost lost 60K OMC to that. I ended up finding some email from them with the username.

I actually still use it, but yea, it's probably not worth it. You are already anonymous to other traders so the only difference is AllCrypt doesn't have any info on you (besides IP).

yeah, i had the exact same problem. I'm pretty sure their password reset stuff was broken as i never received an email the first time round and freaked the fuck out.

I still have an anonymous account there (Which I have access to). If you're among the noobs who tend to forget their passwords and delete their authenticators, don't use it.
It can be a bit problematic that the inactivity required before it's deleted is annoying.

I don't really see a need for anyone to ever use it. That was my main point. Doesn't make sense saying the noobs who delete their authenticators. Many people have 2fa problems with phones breaking, getting lost/stolen etc.

Which is why you back up your 2FA secrets. I like the approach they have taken. Storing as little information as possible about users is a great goal in times where it seems everyone needs to know everything.
Vouch for this thread, I bought some Omnicoins with my latest bitcoins I had.
