Okay so normally you would want to update you apps and get the best and most up to date files for your phone right? well sure thats all sparkles and rainbows but in the case of ewhore methods its not always the best...

First i will give you a nice link to a video you can watch that will guide you through the process... then ill give you step by step on what to do next in dummy language!
First youll need to go to Settings>Security> and have App installation from "Unknown sources" enabled
And youll also have to have a rooted phone, which you can find a tut on google
Step 1: Download AppDowner
So basically AppDowner is the easy app to use ever in history.. you can find the app on GOOGLEPLAY by simply searching "AppDowner" this app makes downgrading your apps as simple as pushing a button.. literally
Step 2: Install AppDowner
Once the APK for AppDowner is downloaded onto your device, tap on it to begin installing it with your stock app installer.
Step 3: Download Older Versions
Okay so this is where you will obviously need your old school .apk version of your app... a GREAT place to pick up some old apps is on Android Drawer this site is great for many think, but in our case for Kik, lets just search for kik and find a lower version..
Step 4: Install Downgraded Versions
This is where you will use your appdowner app.. just open that on up and select your .apk (select apk button) that you just downloaded from Android Drawer! (these files will most likely be in your download directory) after doing so tap "Install APK" in AppDowner to begin downgrading the app. Grant AppDowner permissions with superuser (the root) and you should be good to go !

Side Note: Always use your smarts and common sense when downloading apps outside of the play store.. but i personally havnt had ANY problems with Android Drawer

Now open up your app drawer and find the app your downgraded, then drag the app over to the "App info" option to view the app's details in Android to verify it has been downgraded.
