As long as you aren't trying to get with her, you are allowed to talk to her. A girl I hadn't talked to since the end of summer texted me a week or two ago saying she missed me & I'm pretty sure she's taken rn. Missing someone doesn't mean you want to be with them. ;/

OK OP, this is what ya'll do.

First of all, message her. Say hi, whats up. whatever. Mention that you saw her the other day, and ask her how's it been. whatever she says, build on that. Try to get a conversation going, and then slowly shift it to where you want the convo to go to.
