How do you guys stay motivated and keep learning programming? I've bought a good book and I've learned some stuff and the basic syntax and made many misstakes and still I want to keep learning but I'm never in the mood to program since I'm a gamer and people always talk with me on skype and I don't want to be a douche and ignore them since i enjoy to talk with them but I can't code at the same time. Please reply how you do :)

You can talk to them at the same time while on skype, that's what I do all the time. I talk while typing and it keeps me working. Talking keeps me productive.
To stay motivated I try new things (recently been checking out more reflection). I just enjoy making things so even if I'm not motivated by something at the start, a few mins in and I'm keen to keep working on it till I've got something to show for it. I don't struggle to read while talking, I just struggle to comprehend what I'm reading. I tend to quiet them out if I'm real busy but most of the time I just talk to them about what I'm trying to read. Try not get distracted. I understand what you mean. I used to listen to Dubstep while I programmed then I realized I was much more productive while listening to: Queen, Elton John, Blink 182, Bach, Erik Satie, Chopin. Dubstep is shit. I still don't know what to do with Java. My brother just said it's easy to find job if you know java. And i were very interested in coding so i just said... I'll start with Java xD
