Hmm, alot of miss information on this board. Java drivebys can work in some respects if your willing for fork out $200 for a cert to sign your code with. Even then they are still not silent, they still ask a user if its ok to run.

EK's are what everyone uses now.

You're better off with a silver light driveby because the reasons this user stated. Of course if you want to dish out some money for an EK that would be miles better.

This is correct. Java 8 made Java Drivebys almost impossible now, which sucks. They require you to add the website into an exemption list in order for the applet to even ask to run. Without it, it just says it cant run. Period.
