My group chat isn't just so people can discuss business, but also so people can get help faster than people might get solely on HackForums.

So platform matters?
Why not Facebook group then? Or ICQ or IRC .....
Noone sane needs your group. As most of Skype group, this one will be dismantled almost immediatelly.
Skype is platform. If you don't have content, changing platform won't change a damn thing.
But I'm quite h@ppy you've made this group.
There would be less idiots starting LQ threads like "I've heard there's money to be made online" or "I have 6$ to invest" in MT section

I appreciate your opinion and perhaps there are pros and cons to my methods, but hey, people are joining and people are conversing which is all it has been made for 🤝

I didn't study diplomacy. I'm rough but there's always reason in what I write.
There are thousands of people reading MONEY subforum and yet, there's like 10 - 20 people that have input of any value.
You will just get few fools that expect spoonfeeding. That's how it goes with Skype groups.
