Personally, I wouldn't even trust the HDD if we're being super paranoid, for all he knows they could have replaced it with one containing backdoored firmware.

Keep another laptop and another desktop from me. If I accept to let them keep the computer and the laptop I "won't get charged" otherwise I will. Well I'm contacting my lawyer now to see what he says about this.
