You're very welcome, and I'm glad it helped you out so much.
The definition of a skid is wrong. A skid is one who uses other peoples tools. You are a skid, because you use SQLMap, Kali Linux, etc. Make your own tool, hack with it, you're not a skid. And, "Spreading Malware" is not a skid. Actually, spreading malware is a Hacktivist, not a skid. A hacker needs to spread malware to usually complete other tasks.
Hi, You PM'ed me but i cant reply back as i dont have enough posts but can i have your skype.

Skid is a subjective term. The definition included is what I would describe a skid as.

Using booters, RATing, spreading malware, anything. All skiddy activities. It makes me sick.

Also, you clearly ignored most of what I said here. Using a booter is using another's tool. RATing is using another's tool. Spreading malware is usually using another's tool (as most people won't bother to program their own).

Either get enough posts or get an XMPP. I don't use Skype.

I don't think this is skiddish.

It's skiddish to not understand what it's doing, but many great hackers spread maleware.

Malicious Software- Keylogging, Backdoors, Logic Bombs, etc.

Although I agree that most of the maleware used on HF is skiddish, don't confuse maleware as a skid activity.

learn to code, write a worm. There ya go.

I still think of it as a skiddish and self centered activity (in most cases). I guess you are right that some of the greatest minds of hacking have developed malicious software.
Thanks very nice and useful guide, everything explained so well
Searched for this, many thanks man! ;)
I enjoyed the read, OP. I'm glad I encountered this thread. This thread is a great example of the hacker mindset and the ethical standards of what we do.

I don't generally associate hacktivism with white-hat activity, and I cannot agree that malware spreading is necessarily skidish in and of itself, though it is certainly unethical. Still, you wrote something that deserves to be carved in stone, and like you, I certainly can agree the hacker community should act on the idea of doing things the hard-way in the name of knowledge and the study of IT security. Don't take the easy way, and don't just RAT around like a kid playing with fire. It's irresponsible and you're just doing yourself a diservice.

Only just saw this now. Thank you very much for the kind words regardless of any disagreements.
