I do not plan to limit these. I'll alter the price according to demand to prevent every thread from having them.

Is there anyway in the future to add a custom picture as your sales tag you'd like to add to your thread? Maybe that'd cost a bit extra..and have to fit a certain dimension.

No, I will not be allowing users to upload their own tags. I might add more tags to the official list as times goes on.

There should be packages, I'd say. Like 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months etc.

Currently set for 1 week periods. I may decide to add options for multiple weeks in the future but for simplicity it's set currently for 1 week buy at $6.

I need to keep features as simple as possible. I'm not about overly complicating my website beyond it's already vast amount of complications. My goal is that every new feature works as-is and is as idiot-proof as possible. I know members will always have suggestions and their own ideas on how things should be done but I have to have my own standards for the site.

Is it okay if we sell sales tags? I know not many can get OMC, and the page allows us to input any forum thread, so it would give me limitless options to let customers purchase sales tags at a small fee.

I think this is a really great idea, and the tags look nice and clean. Good price also. $6 isn't bad price people can work around.

Suggestion/Feedback for renewals:

I do feel that the 1 week is good length, although it may be an annoyance for people wanting to have a sales tag for 1 month+ who have to keep updating it every 7 days. Maybe have a choice for how long you purchase it for?

Such as: 1 week Sales-tag $6, 1 month Sales-tag $24

Or even possibly provide a discount for 1 month purchases.

Regardless, I do think this is a fantastic idea for HF. You've done a really good job on implementing this.

For a long time on hack forums now you've kept it clean with minimal colors, but now I feel the tags are making the site a big rainbow. Of course, your site your choice, but I feel it kind of makes the site feel a bit colorful.

I personally would like something similar to the Writ3r's userbar but cleaner to use as the tags, although then they'd most likely blend in.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not a big fan of these. They are hard on the eyes and don't seem like they are integrated well. Either way, I just set up my adblocker to block that whole image directory so I won't have to deal with it.

I'm likely going to add a discounted 1 month purchase option but I feel it's appropriate to wait till the original purchasers have expired. I do want to make sure this feature works as I expect it to.

Visually I know these aren't 100% blending. Over time I hope to work that better. Given that the tags expire that actually makes it easier for me to remove and replace icons as we go forward.

The feature will take some time to get used to.
