I think this would come handy, I am basically saying that if you gave let's say a wrong reputation number or a wrong message on the reputation, you should be allowed to edit it 1 or 2 minutes after without it affecting the given reputation count per day which is 5. I just gave someone -3 without purpose and it was my last for today so I can't change it before tomorrow, it's not a big deal and i was sloppy, but can't this be implemented?
Edit reputations without it counts with given reputation. |

Technically speaking it still falls under given reputation. However I support this suggestion, it's always been a problem of mine.

It's possible to implement but its difficult to implement. the max reps a day thing is built into MyBB (forum software hf uses). Although, I support it, but in a way it could be abused.
You're already able to edit your reputation on people as many times as you want during the day. However, if you've given all 5 reputations that you can give in a day then you will not have the ability to edit any given reputations until the 24 hour timer on your first reputation given is up.

The time it would take to code the changes, test it, then implement it would outweigh the small benefit of this imo. Probably, but it could be beneficial to those who want to change their rep comment on others as it could have been copied and pasted. This will most likely get denied but I think its a good suggestion.

Suggestions similar to this have been suggested before and denied.

You can edit as many reputations as you want, but you can only give a max of 4 a day I think.
If you've give 2 reps, let's say, then you can edit as many as you want without it affecting the number of given reps that day.
I only do deals onsite through PM's/Contracts.
I do not use Discord, or Skype, or talk to members offsite whatsoever. (Apr 9, 2015 10:40 AM)hugsyou Wrote: Wasn't this implented recently to prevent rep ing? That's giving your rep, deleting your rep, and giving it back. Which was implemented 2 years ago or something I forget. What +One is trying to suggest is that if you've given out too much rep you could change your comment on the person without changing the rep. (Apr 9, 2015 03:24 PM)Genicus Wrote: You can edit unlimited as long as you don't do 5 new reps a day, you can edit a rep however many times you want. OP is trying to suggest that editing a reputation shouldn't account as one of your five reps a day. ![]() |
