Most-Played Game:
There are actually a few ones. I mostly play Counter Strike Global Offensive, Far Cry 3, San Andreas Multiplayer and Minecraft. I also have experience with Star Wars: The Old Republic, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Habbo, and a few more. I pretty much play decision-making games, mystery/drama and First-Person Shooter games. But of course, this does not stop me from trying out something new.
Why should I be accepted:
As I always seem to have free time, I feel that I am able to contribute more to the forum than just playing games on my own. Therefore I would be more than pleased to be a part of Nightfall. But let me begin with an introduction about myself.
I'm Psykotikum, an eighteen year old boy from Norway. I am studying application developer, pretty much just creating, coding and designing websites. I am currently studying HTML, PHP, CSS and in my next school year I will be studying Java - and much more. I've spent most of my spare time playing tons of games. Of course, I do have a job besides it. Luckily my job is not taking much time and I can continue playing the games I wish to play. I think this is one of the main reasons of why I am useful and a good additional in the gaming group.
My good skills and properties are that I am polite to everybody. Luckily I am never angry, not to anyone. Most of the time, I just laugh at the situation and step aside from it. I am also willing to help where I can help, such as guiding new gamers, give them some information, tips and so on.
Another good quality of mine is my ability to remain impartial when decision making, when I take up a role, I take pride in making choices I believe to be right and that are by the book, I have an attention to detail and want what's best for the group. I have a passion for gaming and creating stories and feel I'm an approachable person when it comes to asking for help. I would say I'm consistent in my ability to perform in a gaming position and more involved in leading by a good example in terms of game rules, good forum etiquette and being somebody who is friendly and approachable.
I do have one down-point, which is that I am disinterested fast. I want to do something. I can not just sit on a chair doing nothing, which I actually am doing in-real life. If you assign me a job to do, I will do it. To go in further on that, I am always doing my job as best I can. If I do something wrong, tell me, and I will correct it. As I wrote above, I am a quick learner and I do in fact learn from my mistakes. Not everybody does that.
I believe that I am dedicated yet not ignorant. For example, if someone feels a certain way about a situation, I'll allow them to explain whatever they're thinking and value their opinion. Though I am stable with my own beliefs, I'm extremely open-minded--a branch off of tolerance which is always a good thing for a gamer to have. As far as the dedication goes, it even expands out to tasks. If someone tells me to do something or even asks politely, I can do it without a problem and stick to that task until it's complete to one's satisfaction. This may sound nerdy, but I love to help out and do everything or anything I can. I believe that I'm extremely professional. I try to keep a calm and cool persona active at all times and I avoid most if not all arguments on the internet. From the times I've been involved in an argument, I've managed to either push it aside or just let the other person dwell with whatever gratification they get from "winning" said argument. If I know I'm right about something, I trust myself, and I don't let that interfere with my professionalism.
I have tons of experience in leading/co-leading positions. I've played games such as Star Wars: The Old Republic, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Habbo, and a few more. Most of them, I've had leading positions in or have been the owner of a guild/moderator or administrator of a roleplay. I have never been removed from a staff position due to unprofessional behavior or something of that case. I've either requested to be taken off or the roleplay/guild/faction closed due to events that were entirely out of my control. Out of my six/seven years roleplaying, I'd say that a good two of those years were spent in a position of authority. More specifically, I've been a senior administrator in a SAMP roleplay known as Insomnia Roleplay, so I have lots of experience with San Andreas Multiplayer.
I believe I should be accepted because I'm very dedicated towards gaming. I love playing with others, I also feel you can find out a lot about a person by playing with them. I want to join so I can share my love for gaming with others, it would be great to have more people to play with and expand my gaming to other genres such as racing and much more. I feel this it the perfect group for me as I know lots of members share the same interests as me.
I am, in my own eyes, a responsible person. My most defined personality trait is probably my hyperactivity as far as verbal interactions go. On Skype calls or in Teamspeak, I tend to loosen up around people I'm comfortable with; I laugh, I tell jokes, I talk loud and fast and I ultimately sacrifice a bit of professionalism in order to have a good time. It's something I'm toning down but it's still present. You can say that I am a fairly hard worker, and an awesome gamer.
