It's not just you, in another words yes. I didn't see much revolution of groups (New) but the groups now aren't the best as you'd expect.

Anyhow, this isn't the groups thread anymore. D3xus went inactive and Roger Waters has taken it over.

I at first had this mindset really nailed down, and yeah groups have become significantly less in the community. It's not like back in the day with groups like The Alliance, Techsperts, RATs Crew, Graphic Masters and even Respawn (transition from Reverence) were really set out to be involved with the community. Many new groups have become much more central to attending to only themselves, which is why I think a lot of people see some degradation. The fact is there really is no point to be (only) set out to be attentive to the community, this is something that some old groups such as The Alliance recognized and changed it's course. I think what really biases peoples opinions on groups today is the consistent selling of leadership spots and recruitment based upon buy-ins and overall money mentality. I don't think it has anything to do with a group's lack of purpose, unoriginality, or even its objectives. It's more towards how it is presented to the community.
