Find a good group of people to help you start, when i used to run a server with a group of about 50 solid players, i had about 5 of which i could trust to handle everything going on, grief control, and a good strong server is nice too, some players will try to mess up what can be months worth of work.

You could easily resell ovh servers if you want to go the easy way. Just don't overstock them please...
