Looked better with the original colors man. Looks like you just used the hue slider and fiddled with the contrast...

2 & 3. Not symmetrical with a highly symmetric pattern, colors are iffy at best.

Thanks man, like I think my colors were awful, but OP requested it. I will change the colors and try different shapes too. I'm just trying to come up with an idea.
