Hello, I am going to show you how to set up Kali linux with some basic tools etc once you have a fresh install!

• Update and upgrade if you have not already
  apt-get update
  apt-get upgrade
  apt-get dist-upgrade
  
  
• Change to the official repositories!!!!!! ## Regular repositories
  deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib
  deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free
  ## Source repositories
  deb-src http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib
  deb-src http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates main contrib non-free
  
• open and install the i386 version of wine
  Wine will have instructions but if you have trouble with the A64 version then just reinstall off there site.
  
  
• Download and update your version of PHP so that you can run things like Metasploit Pro grabber!
  If you are someone who uses metasploit then download the metasploit Pro Trial grabber here: https://github.com/kulisu/metasploit-pro-trial-grabber THIS IS NOT PIRATING as it only speeds up the process of a free trial grab by using pre made emails etc.
  

The following are more of an option than a need.

Assuming you followed my advice and installed wine, go to www.nirsoft.net and install some of the following tools:

Fast Resolver - Makes resolving large amounts of links a piece of cake, also has resumable sessions.
Web_Grabber - (the newer version may require wine) - This is a tool that once you gain access to something, allows you to snag saved passwords for most top browsers (Chrome, IE, Opera, Firefox
