Feedback on how questions, feedback, and everything in general is being handled

Is it really necessary to call someone a "fucking idiot" who voluntarily gave YOU money for an upgrade at some point in time? You are a grown man, you do not need to be calling people who have questions that are obviously redundant in this section "fucking idiots". Most businesses don't even harass their customers if they dislike something involving a new service or update to their product/upgrade/services. For example, if there is an update that changes something drastically to Xbox Live that interferes with user interactivity, and then someone goes and complains on their forum, Bill Gates or their current CEO isn't going to call them a fucking idiot and threaten to remove them from Xbox Live permanently. They are going to provide professionalism and be as patient with the customer as possible in order to get the issue solved, no matter how many times the question has been asked. More than likely, they will answer one of the first threads posing that question and leave it as that for reference. If there is a sticky that describes the current problem and there are still complaints, these people simply ignore them for the sake of not being a stupid fuck and blowing up on stupid bullshit. It is nobody's fault but your own that you waste your time responding to threads that you don't agree with and closing/banning them. You're doing this to yourself and if you keep treating new members and paying customers like shit, nobody is going to want to spoonfeed you and your family if you're jumping down their throat because you disagree with them, or they disagree with something that YOU did. This forum and website is definitely yours - you do own it, but you have also claimed it as a business, and as a business, it should be fair and you should treat customers that may be acting like children with silly questions better than telling them they are a "fucking idiot". Nobody likes a business that has no respect for their customers. This is what I have seen the past two years or so now. Countless people are being closed, banned, and just removed for stating an opinion that blatantly disagrees with something you are doing. This isn't the most mature way to handle things, it's just like throwing a temper tantrum because mommy doesn't support your lemonade stand and putting your fingers into your ears and screaming "nananaanana, I cannot hear you!"

You need to really re-evaluate how angry you get and how you take it out on everyone. None of us deserve it, no matter how stupid a question is. How you act makes everyone extremely afraid to even criticize something, because when they do, you close their account.

I understand this may be offensive, but I don't appreciate this coming from the man in charge. It is unprofessional and contradictory to how you tell others to act. You are a wonderful man, what has happened?
I can see you being banned in the future.

This would only prove my point otherwise. I would understand completely.

If someone is that inept to read a post about something, they deserve to be called a fucking idiot. All you're doing is defending the ones who don't have any brain cells

Is it really necessary, as the front man of this business and forum, to call them a fucking idiot instead of something more subtle? Like, perhaps, "maybe you should read the sticky about this, it'll clear it up for you."

Yea it's necessary. People don't respond to kindness. Ever.

I see your point OP, but there is a better way to present this to get your point across.

EDIT: OP, you also need to remember that although HF is a business, it is a forum primarily.

I could have gone about this better, but it is upsetting to know that if I were to have a question, whether silly or good, I'd probably get the same response. It is still a business, whether or not it's main purpose is a forum.

How would we know it doesn't work here? I don't think anyone has ever experienced that in response to a question/suggestion.

I'm positive it's been done before by Omni, and people still from that time continue to be idiots. I'll be glad to see the day when you get banned.
How a thread like this get started.

1) Omni shows his frustration at certain members

2) Some goon like OP decided hey I want to get some attention to myself, so I am going to take advantage of the situation and pretends like I give an actual fuck about how this forum is operated.

3) Start a thread criticizing and trashing at Omni. Make sure at the end to kiss his ass at the hope that he won't close your account. If you are going to post shit about someone, why bother kissing his ass later?

4)Wait to get some attention from other members since this is a forum.

5)Then a few months later come back saying you are sorry for whatever you did.
Thank you kindly sir for your input. While I value your very well-thought out response it's come to my attention that you are no longer needed here as a member. As such I have now closed your account. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
