So today I was looking at my Youtube channel and decided to look at some of the statistics. Basically in one year I've made $20. I'm by no means complaining, because getting $20 for maybe ten or so videos that are actually worth watching isn't bad at all. I'm just wondering if there is any way I could increase this, or if there is something I'm not doing correctly.
Basically I just make various videos, mainly based around hacking and security, then upload them with a few tags. Nearly all of my traffic comes from either here, or from "Related content" from other videos.

I mean, if you don't have partnership already, go get partnership. They rise your revenue and make you more visible on youtube.
Nothing much other to do.
The biggest issue it seems is your view count. You are getting just $1.67 per 1k views or so, which isn't terrible for a very general topic. The more views you can accumulate, the more of a domino effect you can achieve.
I'm wondering if my "Bad standing" has much effect on this. I uploaded a video showing how to hide files from a webhost. (The basic trick where you use php to open a .jpg that's actually an html file..) Youtube removed it for being to blackhat and now I have a bad standing until August.
Do you have any idea how many hacking forums there is out in the world right now? Go post your videos there! I'm quiet good at managing youtube channels if they are willing to make videos and get the extra views for you if you wish for my help?

For some reason the thought never occurred to me to put them on other hacking related forums.
I'm not being sarcastic either, I seriously didn't think of this... I worry about myself sometimes..

It's okay, I do this stuff all the time so it just comes to mind a lot little ideas like this.

Update: I now have a YouTube partnership. It took me literally 5 seconds to get it. The moment I applied for it a got an email saying I was accepted. I must be lucky, lol.

What's the name of the YT partnership ? Not all partnerships are good.
You can use SEO for youtube video's to increase popularity
