If your vision is correctable to 20/20 (I think it's actually 20/40 at the least) with contacts/glasses then you are fine to go!

Being from an Arabic country getting a visa is like going through hell, a friend of mine wanted to go finish studying medicine and finished all the tests required then he didn't get a visa just because of country :/
Also I don't have much money to pay for studying aviation, I'll probably graduate by 2018 so by then hope I'll find a scholarship for aviation school, what's awesome about scholarships is they force you to work with them after you finish studying, makes it easier than looking for a job my self 😏😏
Have a cool signature? hit me up and I might use it.

Be prepared to put a lot of time into it. Defiantly worth it though.

I'm ready to spend 16h/day on it, I'll just need 7hours of sleep and an hour of resting.

I have 20/25 with glasses and was still denied.
Sounds like you had a good time. I've always debated whethet going into flying planes or law enforcement.

That's not right. They shouldn't deny you. Were you trying for something other than private or recrational license?
Here's he requirements, from the FAA:
Quote:Subpart D - Third-Class Airman Medical Certificate
§ 67.303 Eye.
Eye standards for a thirdclass airman medical certificate are:
(a) Distant visual acuity of 20/40 or better in each eye separately, with or without corrective lenses. If corrective lenses (spectacles or contact lenses) are necessary for 20/40 vision, the person may be eligible only on the condition that corrective lenses are worn while exercising the privileges of an airman certificate.
(b) Near vision of 20/40 or better, Snellen equivalent, at 16 inches in each eye separately, with or without corrective lenses.
© Ability to perceive those colors necessary for the safe performance of airman duties.
(d) No acute or chronic pathological condition of either eye or adnexa that interferes with the proper function of an eye, that may reasonably be expected to progress to that degree, or that may reasonably be expected to be aggravated by flying.

You will get sleep. You need sleep. Fatigue is a huge issue in aviation. You will learn that when you start 😉

Nope. Just Private license.

You shouldn't have been denied then :/ That was straight from the FAA.

Who specifically denied you? The flight school? Aviation doctor?

I was denied by the Flight school in my area.

I highly suggest looking for another flight school then. It would be a different story if an aviation doctor denied you.
That's great man.. i wish i could too, but i have a kind of phobia of it.
