That's a good start, but remember eBay does not allow selling fakes or counterfeits : )

Well for me its a success : ) As said in the first post that this is the first time I'm really making anything online. And thanks : ) (Jul 11, 2015 11:36 PM)'Cynical Wrote: I assume you're following something off of the thread w/ the pallet chairs and stuff? Nope, I didn't read any guides whatsoever before starting this. All figured out myself. After that they will report you to IRS so if your going to sell more than that, I advise you to keep all your invoices, shipping supplies, mileage extra documented. Yea they contacted me about that already but since I live outside of the US they won't report it. I keep everything documented, listing every item I sell, what it costs to me, fees and how much I profit from each item. If the Finnish tax authorities wan't to visit me, they're welcome :) (Jul 12, 2015 12:18 PM)V12-POWER Wrote: So you sell cheap copies of aliexpress items at like 400% more of it's original price? wouldn't u get easily caught Bah, why did I even try to cover it! Well done mate you figured it all out :( If I would sell item from Aliexpress for +400% I would be a seller with 0 sales. I wish it was that easy but nope. There are tons of sellers dropshipping on eBay so its not just that simple if you want to profit, you gotta dig deep down to find the items that profit you and not use the same items/suppliers that everyone else does. Also you need to take into account all the fees/costs; shipping, eBay fees, PayPal fees, taxes etc. (Jul 5, 2015 11:14 PM)ΖϒΖΖ Wrote: That's a good start, but remember eBay does not allow selling fakes or counterfeits : ) No kidding, I was buying and selling lookalike lifeproof cases and making mad cash but lifeproof bought one from me and sued me for $500 lol I got a call saying I was getting sued so I hung up assuming it was the normal fake ass calls you get from middle easterners but then my parents got a letter from a lawyer in the mail 😖 But nice man glad this is working for ya 🤝 (Jul 12, 2015 10:57 PM)Jeep™ Wrote: No kidding, I was buying and selling lookalike lifeproof cases and making mad cash but lifeproof bought one from me and sued me for $500 lol Yea that's one of the reasons I'm not touching counterfeits ;D (Jul 13, 2015 04:17 AM)Truth Hurts Wrote: Im never touching ebay again. Yea many of the buyers are douchebags you are right. They claim they never received the item and when I tell that the tracking shows that they did in fact pick the item from their post office they change their story to receiving only empty package. Also since the shipping times are sometimes longer than expected (even though I always state in the sales page that it may take up to two months) they open a claim against me. I don't know why the hell is it so but usually GayPal or eBay close the case in favor of the buyer even though I always add tracking information. And yes, you are right, eBay fees are too high imo. I mean come on, 10% of the sale price? That's bullshit :D |
