I think group owners want quick money and they don't want to wait for price they want (as Realizm said) and that is why they are selling for lower prices (..than usual).

I think I agree with this, most group owners just put the group up for sale solely because they want to get rid of it and don't have the patience to wait for a better offer

I don't know but I don't think much,I would assume they 'had' to sell it for lower because not much people on HF are willing to drop 8/9/10/11/12k for a small image next to your name.
