Need help installing vBulletin

Hello HF,

This is my first time in this section. I never started my own website from scratch but I am trying to make a small forum type website for my xbox clan and I so we can chat and all that stuff. I am hosting it on my old desktop running a Virtual Machine just to take a extra little safety step. Now I have everything setup and have a live server thanks to WAMP Server and I am able to go to the phpmyadmin page and that. Now, I am curious how to upload this vBulletin file into my website. No I do not have a domain atm, I want to finish it all on my end before buying a domain and getting a actual host. If someone could give me a nice tutorial for this it would be greatly appreciated. I checked on youtube and google for hours and I could not find a single thing.

I may just be really slow but I am planning on learning as I am doing this for the future.

You will also need to port forward if you didn't know. http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/

Honestly you could have GOOGLED or eve YOUTUBED this and you would have gotten a shit ton of help and videos from youtube.
If you can't do that, You shouldn't be hosting a forum

I'm sorry I was unaware that you were the almighty god that can say if I can or can't do something. I actually googled and youtubed things all day and couldn't find anything about how to do it with phpMyAdmin and as I previously stated, this is the first time I do this, I am learning so get that stick out of your arse and maybe don't comment on threads that clearly by the title is asking for help.

Thank you, this is what I was looking at yesterday but couldn't understand the installing part as I don't use the programs they have as examples lol

My suggestion is using MyBB like Hackforums uses instead, much easier imo.

If you want a good forum, use xenforo, best forum security.
VB has tons of exploits they won't fix until shit starts getting hacked.

As for installing, if you want help I'll help over Teamviewer, PMA is the easier part if you ask me :p
