How to reduce chance of being scammed [For Sellers]

I'd just like to give you guys some advice on how to reduce your chances of being scammed when selling something on HF.

Step 1 :
Don't put your skype in your thread / thread design what-so-ever.
I recommend doing this because anyone from HF can add your Skype, and make a deal with you and buy something and you will have no idea what the profile is at all.
Whereas if you don't put your Skype but you say in the thread "PM me for my Skype" you will have PM proof of them asking to add you on Skype, so you have some proof to fall back on.

Step 2 :
Don't make a deal over Skype without asking the person buying to send you their HF profile.
If they don't send their profile, block them and move on because they are most likely trying to scam you and trying not to get caught.

Step 3 :
Just have some common sense, don't be fooled by people on the internet.
Treat your business like you would if it was an in real life business.
If you have any reason to believe someone is going to try scam you, do NOT deal with them at all.

Always make sure you keep screenshots if the chat starts being a bit weird and you feel the person is sketchy.

Happy Selling!
Abstinence is the best way to avoid aids. Don't use the marketplace and 0% chance you are scammed

Useless advice. Go play in The Lounge.

On topic: My advice is to never go first or use a very trusted middleman, while only dealing with trusted members. Simple as that.

That advice is useless and your better off just not selling. Very trusted member ? Thats less than 10 people on this forum, if both members are new, they have to pay an extra amount due to being new, sounds like some great advice bud. Terrible idea

Bro, I thought you use the UID stuff you mention in the other thread.
The way i do shit is i either make the buyer pay first or use a MM. At the store you don't eat the food first and then pay it after you are done... you don't go to the mall and wear shoes then go back and pay for them.
LMFAO this is some funny shit cause OP just scammed me with leeching my ebook and not giving me my share

I didn't scam anything.
We both made this e-book. Until you tried doxing me and gang repping me.
You should never trust Indians either.

Yes, but that's only useful for currency exchanges.
