Yes, but you need to be extremely lucky, it isn't gonna happen your whole life, and it is unrealistic that people sell their goldmines for $20 to $50 if they can earn 5k a month.
You could always have the luck that you earn it, but it isn't gonna happen every time, eWhoring is an unstable source of income.
It is easy to get a load of Skype traffic for VWC ewhoring, best sites are:

For KIK ewhoring you don't need a VPN, just make sure you don't click on any suspicious links.
If you are Skype ewhoring, you can use a VPN to hide your real IP.
Skype's can get resolved, but you can turn that off with ease.
Just turn on: "allow direct connection only".
For chatrooms and im's, you don't have to use a vpn, you can get traced if you click any link though, so look out for that.
