Decompiling Minecraft 1.8 with OptiFine using MCP's decompiler

Minecraft 1.8 has proven to be a huge inconvenience for people who've come from past Minecraft versions. Minecraft 1.8, while possibly for the better, has MANY code differences between itself and 1.7.
People, such as myself, have come across issues while trying to use MCP to decompile Minecraft with OptiFine. This is apparent when searching for OptiFine in the Griefing section. I'm posting this thread to help out those people.
W: This is only relevant to people who are using MCP to decompile Minecraft, as opposed to using mod loaders such as Forge or LiteLoader.

In order to get MCP to decompile a jar file with OptiFine in it, we need to stop MCP from Applying Fernflower fixes. Here's steps on how to do this:

Step 1:
Navigate to [Image: ec07JU.png] (your MCP folder) and then navigate to the [Image: 6ksyBt.png] folder.

Step 2:
Inside this folder, you'll want to open the [Image: Gosydt.png] file in a text editor. I recommend using something like Sublime Text or Notepad++ (highly recommend notepad++)

Step 3:
In this file, navigate to line number [Image: EaW2PD.png]. It will look like this:

Step 4:
Comment out line [Image: yXD3IG.png], like so:

Step 5:
Save the file. If you're using notepad++ like a true man, click [Image: N01X6N.png]

Then your copy of MCP will then be able to decompile OptiFine. While decompiling you should expect errors, don't worry as they're easy to fix. This thread only explains how to decompile, not how to fix compile errors.

MCP is written in python and trying to comment out a line of code in Python as if it was Lua wouldn't end up too pretty.

In layman's terms, use #.

Vouch for Rederpz, he is the big ASCII man in the late modification for Gmod.
I saw 'cout' being shifted "Hello world" times to the left and stopped right there.
