I'm removing the Gift Card restriction in the Disallowed Blackhat Activity help doc.

Old wording:

Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), Prepaid Credit Cards, Gift Cards and Virtual Bank Accounts (VBA)
We understand that there might be a valid purpose and use for these discussions, but we've decided to remove them from HF in an effort to stay on a more legitimate topic level.

New wording:

Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), Prepaid Credit/Debit Cards and Virtual Bank Accounts (VBA)
We understand that there might be a valid purpose and use for these discussions, but we've decided to remove them from HF in an effort to stay on a more legitimate topic level.

I realize that Gift Cards are often a means of valid financial transactions between members. So I'm going to allow them. VCC and VBA are still very much disallowed but sellers are now free to accept Amazon Gift Cards as payment as an example. This should open up some additional Marketplace activity.

Please be aware that Gift Card trading and sales are still very high risk methods for being scammed. I advise severe caution in dealing with them.

HF can be safe if you're smart about it. Just look at rep and check for scam reports.
