What about the scammer reps they have given? they shouldn't be removed imo.

You have to have made the scam report to rep them with it and if your account is now closed you obviously did something worse than whomever "scammed you".

Yes. I know some legit reps will be removed but so will many badly given reps by trolls who have closed accounts. I think it will be a decent balance but it will also clear up some database space and make rep pages look neater without all the closed account reps.

I might even decide to purge all reps past a certain date...like all reps older than 2 years. That would force reps to be more current for users.

Except for members (like myself) who earned a hefty portion of their reputation selling things (in my case, OG usernames) a few years back and legitimately earned those reputations for being good and legitimate salesman or whatever.

That's crazy talk haha, why would you purge all reps that people have worked for years to achieve a certain level of credibility? ( that's just putting everyone back at square one )

However at the end of the day it's your call, I just had to speak my mind :P

Reputation isn't really a level of credibility imho. There are tons of members who have reputation from when penny giveaways were a thing and reputation is more or less just a number.
