Hello people. This is a small part of my LuminosityLink megathread. I have decided to include this tutorial in a seprate thread due to its size. If you find any errors please PM me about them, do not post them on the thread. I was only using myself in this tutorial, not bots. If you have any issues with the cryptominer please feel free to contact the Luminosity support team, or ask your question on the Cryptominer support thread.

LuminosityLink has a HUGE dedicated support team. The best way to get in contact with us is to join the 'LuminosityLink Customer Support' Skype group. You can do so by pasting the following text into a Skype chat and clicking on it. Please note this has to be clicked on from within Skype! If the code isn't working please contact me ASAP and I will update it. We have to constantly change it due to immature 11yr olds who think they know my IP. Please excuse them if you encounter one in the group, they mostly have family issues.
This Skype group aims to provide an active and friendly approach to support. There are members of the support team online 24/7 in the group, as well as other customers willing to help others. If you need quick help this is the way to get it!
First you will need to get your wallet set up. Allot of people I know do not recommend using online wallets, so I have not even looked into them. For our wallet we will be using the Litecoin Core. This can be downloaded from https://litecoin.org/ Choose your download and launch it. Install it to a desired location and open Litecoin Core after its finished installing.
You will be greeted with the following screen. The wallet needs a large directory. So i recommend installing it on a large external/internal drive.

Now your wallet will have to get up to date. This will take several hours. So i recommend doing something else in the time.

Once it is finished go to File>Receiving Addresses. You will see a window open with your receiving addresses. Right click on the first data set and click 'Copy Address'. This is your LTC address that people can use to send you money. I recommend writing it down somewhere.

For this guide I will be using https://www.litecoinpool.org as my mining pool. Another good pool to use is https://ghash.io/. We will be using them to mine DOGE later.
Go to their Signup page and create an account. Once you have created an account login. Go to My Account. Here you can see all the information and stats about your account.
Now that you have your wallet and pool set up, its time to get the miner done! This is what will use your clients to 'mine' for Litecoins. Go to the 'Crypto Miner' tab under 'Command And Control'.

Click on 'Setup Miner Config'. This is the important part. If you get something wrong here your miner will not work. Below are the settings you will need to set:
Miner Type: Make sure this is set to Scrypt (LTC, OMC, DOGE, etc). If it is set to SHA-256 it will not work.
Mining Style: I recommend keeping this to CPU mining unless you have a large amount of powerful, most likely gaming, machines infected. If you choose GPU mining with less powerful machines you will get little results.
Authentication: This is the login for you worker. On litecoinpool, your username is your user on the site with a .1 at the end, for example mine is 'incendiary.1'. Your password is by default '1'.
You can change you worker user/password on your My Account page on litecoinpool. You can also add more workers.
Spoiler (Click to View)
Mining Pool: This is important. Depending on your poll this will vary greatly. For litecoinpool you can find the servers on the FAQ page. At the time of writing this these where the servers (if they change tell me in the comments). Chose the server closest to your main client base.
====== stratum+tcp://litecoinpool.org:3333 (London, UK)
====== stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333 (New York, USA)
====== stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3333 (San Francisco, USA)
====== stratum+tcp://ltcpool5brio2gaj.onion:3333 (Tor hidden service)
Proxy: I personally have had issues setting this up. If someone wants to PM me a tutorial on this I will be happy to include it.
Once you have filled in all the settings you should have something that looks like the image below. Click in 'Save Miner Config' to save your settings.

Once you save your settings you will a dialog box asking you if you want to test your miner config on your pc. Click on yes and open task manager to see if your CPU usage goes up. If it doesn’t then check the Command Prompt that opened with the miner and check the errors. To stop testing on yourself just close the Command Prompt.

That’s it! Your miner is now set up and ready to go! Click on the 'Start/Update Miner' button and your slaves will start mining! I recommend using "Half of CPU Threads" to avoid suspicion. Check your My Account page to see if your speed is above 0.00. If your not getting any progress redo the above steps and try again. At the bottom of your My Account page you can change the payout threshold. I personally have this set to the lowest amount (0.01 LTC) so i can get my profits in my wallet ASAP.

NOTE: I am only using ONE client (my secondary computer) to mine in this guide. You should expect speeds a lot faster than mine if you are using more clients. I recommend mining with 50+ online clients.
