About you: Returning as a 4th year in university, almost graduating if I can get all my classes in order. Trying to pick up meaningful hobbies that isn't gaming because I do a lot of that right now. Everyday I work to be a better individual than I was the day that past. It's not always about necessarily improving, but it is about at least changing my mentality to better myself. Anyways, that's just a little scope on what I'm trying to do.
Relevant Skills: I've actually been looking into a bit of Networking and I'm reading into the subject a lot. I'm scheduled to take several courses in the near future in the Networking classes offered at our university. Networking is actually different from computer science in our campus so I at least know the difference between the two. In terms of skills, I hate to sound like a script kiddo, but I used to play a lot with Wireshark and MiTM from iPods. It was definitely something I was proud of back then as everything had to be done without a GUI. (With the exception of Wireshark.) Cut me a break, I was actually about 14-15 when I first started messing around with it.
Past experience (provide links where possible) : To be honest, I don't post a whole lot of resourceful tutorials on HackForums and I don't document my hobbies so I'm afraid there's no threads I can share. I would like to join just so I can learn more about networking because I want to be involved in networking projects in the future. Probably isn't the best application on this thread, but I gave it some thought and I do have the determination to learn.
Contact methods (feel free to send in private): You can PM me. We could go on IRC, idk. That's up to you guys.
Accepted. Sending acceptance PM to you right now.

About you: I have been well-versed and passionate about technology, computers, gaming, event management, and online communities from a very young age. Growing up tinkering with technology and devising/collaborating in projects with colleagues cultivated my insatiable thirst to consistently learn more about the industry that drives technology forward, and polished my ability to pick up new skills quickly. I’m known as a results-driven, detail-oriented, decisive problem-solver with a zeal for creating well-considered, efficient operations. I not only set goals, but I accomplish them. Aside from that, I am a jet setter and a gamer. I love traveling and playing games whenever I have time to spare.

Relevant Skills: I have tons of experience in technology, but I still have a lot to learn. I seem to know a little bit of everything but specialize in management, which isn't exactly technical. I currently work for a game development company owned by former EA executives doing quality assurance testing and game design. I also do side projects with other companies such as Origin PC and NVIDIA, including promotions and giveaways. Other positions I have held are: Event Operations Manager for a local comic con, and Computer Technician for a college department. I'm still in College learning as much as I can, which is why I'm no where near being an expert at anything. I've been President of my college's Computer Club for 2 years, so I have experience running technology workshops, projects, and lessons. I would love to run a System Analysis and Design class in the name of Null, as it is a current class that I am taking (and therefor have the materials for it).

Past experience (provide links where possible): In this section I am only linking HF threads, which aren't many. Relevant real life experiences were described above. I have been in a leadership position in The Empire, Terror, Polymath, and Titans, where I have run different projects. I also ran projects for Eminence and several other groups. At one point, I was an MRT Trainee for a few weeks, in the time before the group closed.
Contact methods: I mostly use Skype, Teamspeak, Tinychat, and HF Private Messaging to keep in contact with other members. I can share this information once accepted.

About you: I am 18, and I have been using computers for probably 12 years now. I've always had a deep interest in how things work, both with computers, as well as other mechanical stuff. I remember the first time when I was probably 7-8 when I made the command prompt on Windows 2000 turn green and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Of course now I have advanced well beyond child's stuff like that.

When I was in high school I took part in a cyber security competition called CyberPatriot. This is a computer DEFENSE competition, where we were given Virtual Machines of vulnerable Windows and Linux machines, and we were scored on how well we could find and fix the vulnerabilities. Our team, with myself as the captain, took 4th place, 2nd place, 2nd place, and 1st place nationally at the finals competition in Washington D.C. each year I was a part of it. I also won 2nd place in my state for a competition called CyberAces, which was basically a SANS Netwars competition. I competed against not only other high school students, but also college students and professionals in industry. I even beat my information technology instructor, since he competed! I have also competed in numerous CTF (capture the flag) competitions, and done fairly well.

I am also working with my instructors here in college to start up a cyber security club, where we hopefully will be able to compete in the NCCDC (National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition), which is basically the collegiate version of CyberPatriot, as well as getting a group of students together to hopefully be able to do CTFs and just overall expand our knowledge of the InfoSec field.

Outside of InfoSec, I enjoy playing guitar, and playing CS:GO.

Relevant Skills: Computer Science student, Python, C/C++, Java (learning), HTML/CSS, Cisco router/switch configuration, PC Pro certification (similar to A+, it was a free test voucher I got from school), I am big into penetration testing where I spend a lot of my time practicing using VMs from VulnHub.com, I've interned at a DoD contractor doing software engineering mainly using BASH/Python, currently in the process of getting my Linux+ cert (passed the first test, just need to buy a voucher for the second), and I would like to work for my OSCP cert when I have the money.

Past experience (provide links where possible):
http://github.com/cquick97/
http://blog.zer0w1re.net/

Those links are pretty much the proof I have regarding things that I have done. (I can also provide proof of ownership of those links, if required)

I am also the CIO of NzenMods (http://nzenmods.com/) where I run the servers (web and mail, running on a Linux VPS) and overlook the software development.

I've contributed a few lines of code to the Offensive Security NetHunter project. Nothing special, but OffSec is a pretty big name in the InfoSec field. I am also almost always on IRC with the guys from OffSec and VulnHub, so I have good communication with professionals in the InfoSec industry.

I am also working with some IRL friends to start up a HackerSpace in my local community. We have already been given the opportunity to write CTF challenges for Shmoocon in Jan.

I can also privately give you my Linkedin, where I list a ton of my real work experience.

Contact methods (feel free to send in private): Mainly HF PM, but I can also be contacted via email at [email protected] (PGP public key is located here, if you wish: https://keybase.io/zer0w1re) I have Skype, however I prefer not to use it, but I could if required.

Closing remarks: I'm extremely excited for the opportunity to work with some knowledgeable people on the forum. Please feel free to contact me with any questions what so ever about my application, or just about anything in general.

Thank you!
Some promising applications, I'll be in touch with a few of you!
