Hi,

I've been searching for a suggestion like this all over this section, but haven't been able to find one. Nor could I find a rule prohibiting it.

I want to propose a Payment Processor Discussion section as a sub-forum of Marketplace Discussion.

Especially lately, PayPal threads have been flooding this section and I'm sure a lot of members are getting pretty tired of this. The Payment Processor Discussion section would not only include PayPal Discussion, but also Skrill, Western Union, and other popular processors. Prefixes for the most discussed processors would also be helpful.

There's probably also a concern that a lot of the discussion in a section like this would be fraudulent, concerning fake PayPal accounts and similar stuff. A section like this would need strict rules and strict moderation to make sure the discussion stays legitimate.

So, on a final note, I think this section could be helpful to a lot of members having problems with their legitimate PayPal accounts. Any thoughts?

I agree, if Omni decides to add this section, it would need strict rules and moderation.

I support this idea though because whenever I have problems with PayPal, I have no idea where to post it.

Yeah, you're not alone. Most members have no idea and just post it in the Marketplace Discussion, because it has a [Payment Processor] prefix.

As long as the threads that are created aren't fraudulent related it should be alright.

I honestly think that thread tags would be fine for these threads under the Marketplace Discussion area. I don't think there would be much activity in such a section.

Well, take a look at the first pages of Marketplace Discussion. Just today and yesterday, 11 threads about PayPal alone. That's more than a lot of other sections on here.

Right now, that's all in the Marketplace Discussion. And we don't need that either.

I fear the content would be a problem. I always consider adding a no Paypal discussion rule already. Most of them are complaints about being Limited or they are discussion on how to fraudulently have a PP account.

So no, there will not be a section dedicated to the topic.
