I see a lot of people come to this forum to "become hackers" and I don't understand why, because it's fucking pointless. You gain nothing from it unless you're an absolute idiot, in which case, you're going to get caught.
You'll wind up meeting bad people who'll abuse your mistakes and really fuck your life up. I've narrowly avoided this situation in the past and when I look back I realise how stupid I really was. Learning to "hack" has no benefits and is the key to hell on Earth... The virtual equivalent to being involved with gangs and drugs.
Enjoy a life of constantly looking over your shoulder until the day the "don't drop the soap" becomes the best advice you've ever heard. Seriously, don't even bother.

Seriously though, fuck off.
Learning to hack isn't always a bad thing. It completely depends on the person and their goals of course. For example, I'm currently at uni where they are literally teaching me to hack, but that's only so I can get a job at analysing computer/physical networks for vulnerabilities (also known as a penetration tester). However, you get a lot of kids on here asking for quick and easy ways to hack their friends/people they dislike or are jealous of. I blame the movies and the media for making it look like we just click a button and poof we've hacked everything. Whenever I tell people that I'm studying Ethical Hacking, the first thing they say is either a terrible joke about how it's not really "ethical" (even though it is, by law) and/or ask if I can hack their Facebook/phone. I really don't think people understand how security works, and I think that's why people aren't trying harder to make themselves more secure, and are just blaming the companies for their bank details getting stolen.
Sorry, I know this isn't really the point of your post, I just fancied a rant at one in the morning...

I totally agree. I've had multiple friends come and ask me to hack their ex girlfriends Facebook or some shit and I'm there trying my hardest to explain that it's not just thr click of a button. I have no idea why they assume I know how to even hack because I really don't.

This thread is pointless. Did you think a community of "hackers" are going to get behind this and keep bumping it to the top forever so the site just never gets new members? Solid.
Life is about learning from mistakes, if a 12 year old wants to get arrested let him. Natural selection at it's finest.

If you didn't already notice, these so called "hackers" make up about 2% of the community.
So you are telling me that the ethical hacking job that I am getting at a security firm that pays $100k/yr is a waste of time?

That's not. I'm referring to the people who want to become the next Lizard Squad.
Are you fucking retarded? Not all hackers are bad moron.
White hats can get paid more than doctors do some times.
It's just the black hats that sometimes mess up.
Know your shit before you talk it.

Sounds like the attitude of someone who tried to spread their RAT, failed, and now thinks hacking is useless. Are you forgetting about white-hats? They do things for money by hacking legally. Don't get me wrong, black hats can make money too. There are a few on this forum who make more money in a week from hacking than you will in a year.
